10 Ways to “Celebrate” International Panic Day + a Puzzle! (Contest) (15)

International Panic Day is a “mock” holiday meant to give people a day to intentionally de-stress.

I’m all for that! Well, I’m all for another odd holiday and all for destressing! How ’bout you?

I thought making a list of ways I like to destress would be fun…

    1. 🐈 Pet a pet
    2. 📻 Listen to music
    3. ☕ Drink a cup of tea
    4. 😮‍💨 Breathe
    5. 🧘‍♀️ Meditate
    6. 🏊‍♀️ Swim!
    7. 👭 Spend time with friends
    8. 🚶‍♀️ Go for a walk
    9. 👩‍⚕️ See a therapist
    10. 🏝️ Get away from it all!

The last two aren’t things I generally do, but I was struggling to get to 10! I also managed to fit in a puzzle for you all since so many of you enjoy them!

For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, solve the puzzle, then add to my list of 10 or tell me which items on my list you use!

Get away from it all. Or read a book.

Of course! Books weren’t on my list because, for me, writing them is a source of stress. LOL

I do several of your things – pet my dog, swim, etc. but I also will read or play a game on my iPad.

Love this puzzle! I kind of felt this way this morning when I went to my first physical therapy session. It ended up being very informative and, surprise, relaxing. So I was actually panicking about nothing. Then my brother came over and installed an air conditioner for me, so now I really get to relax AND breathe at the same time. But to answer you question, I knit or crochet to relax!

Hugs, Delilah! I don’t have a pet and am not a huge fan of swimming, but otherwise I love your list! Crafting, whether it’s knitting or crocheting or calligraphy or something else, is also good for getting my mind to stop churning. And seeing friends is also great for talking me down! Sometimes baking something is a good thing too–both for the pleasure of making something, and then having something to either eat or give away after!

3:18 — I liked the sharks in the picture. I still haven’t had a chance to watch Under Paris, so sharks are on my mind! And I didn’t add painting to my list!

I like a nice cup of ginger tea to relax. I also like to be alone to relax.
