THE OPPORTUNITY

The Licensing Analyst is responsible for the successful opening of all Chipotle restaurants, ensuring compliant execution of all licensing internal processes and procedures, and a thorough understanding of all applicable external department partnerships in our Operations, Development, Facilities, Legal, Marketing, and accounting departments.

What You'll Do

  • Manage NRO permit acquisition with construction managers, architects, and design staff to ensure applications contain all required items to avoid costly delays in the new restaurant openings.
  • Negotiate and manage state attorney relationship including timeline management, document preparation, billing, contract negotiation, and execution of licensing procurement strategy.
  • Provide best in class expertise in licensing knowledge for related legal and constructions matters for restaurant opening and operational compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government officials and administrators to plan and provide comments on changes to regulations.
  • Manage and facilitate Chipotle's alcohol ordering and procurement systems including leveraging applicable stakeholders in the company's alcohol strategy.
  • Manage and execute plan for data integrity within Licensing, Accounting, Development, and IT systems in which the department operates.
  • Provide Accounting and Licensing Leadership with companywide visibility for NRO and operational compliance and risk assessments.
  • Review and guide licensing coordinators through complex exception, legal, and administrative challenges.
  • Manage third party system for reporting and tracking of restaurant building and health violations including providing counsel on the presentative and reactionary steps needed for compliance.
  • Responsible for researching, interpreting, and filing state and federal regulatory forms to ensure all Chipotle entities remain in good standing and accurate reflection to operational licenses.
  • Manage Chipotle's bond procurement program including relationship with our vendors and internal procedures for requests.

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • 3-5 years or experience Related field (Licensing, Finance, Legal, Construction, Project Management Procurement)
  • Certified Licensing Professional certification preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Experience with Oracle EBS, Sharepoint, ServiceNow, and/or Workday preferred
  • Capacity for leadership, inspiration, self motivation, problem solving, and legal expertise.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $53,000 to $68,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
