By consistently following the proper recipes and procedures, and adhering to Chipotle's high standards regarding food preparation, cleaning and sanitation, teamwork and customer service, they help to ensure that the Chipotle customer experience is always the best it can be.
Chipotle Mexican Grill employees typically work between 25 and 40 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on the location and the day of the week, but most Chipotle locations are open from 11am to 10pm. Some locations are open later on the weekends. Shift lengths usually range between 4 and 8 hours.
The prep person marinates the meats, cuts all of the produce needed for the day and the next day, also they are in charge of washing dishes and keeping the floor clean. also during peak hours they are required to help with dinning. The prep duties may vary depending on your skills.
Working as a crew member at Chipotle can be a great entry-level job as they prefer to train people with no experience. Getting hired isn't hard; you just have to do your research and have the 13 characteristics that Chipotle looks for in prospective team members.

A crew member works in a restaurant, completing food preparation, customer service and sanitization tasks. The crew member may work in the kitchen, following recipe and food preparation instructions or could work at the counter, taking orders, answering customer questions and operating the cash register.
While you don't need past experience, we do recommend at least having an interest in cooking. Chances are, you'll start your Chipotle career on the infamous burrito line, cooking up savory food and putting smiles on customers' faces with every scoopful of extra steak and dollop of sour cream.
