DEISLER, Edward G., of Saginaw, our beloved father, grandfather, and brother passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was 91years old. Edward George Deisler, Jr. was born on May 11, 1924, to Edward G. and Bernadette (LaVeck) Deisler. He married Mary Patrice "Pat" Harden on August 28, 1948, at St. Mary's Cathedral; she preceded him in death on July 24, 2010. Ed graduated from St. Mary's High School and then attended St. Mary's College in Winona, MN. He continued his education at the University of Notre Dame where he enrolled in the V-12 Program. In 1942, Ed served with the United States Marine Corps in Saipan and Okinawa, Japan for four years. Upon his honorable discharge, he attended Wayne State University where he obtained his Mortuary Science License. Ed was a licensed funeral director for over 68 years, serving the Saginaw community. He was the President of Deisler Funeral Home from 1951 until his retirement in 1989. He was extremely proud that the Deisler Funeral Home was, and still is, the oldest funeral home in the Saginaw community founded in 1888, continues to serve the community 128 years later through his son, Thomas, a fourth generation family funeral director/owner. STELTER, Maureen Estelle Kathleen (Shea), of Saginaw Michigan, passed away at home surrounded by her loving husband and children following a valiant battle with cancer. She went home to spend an eternity with her Lord Jesus Christ on August 11, 2011, at the age of 62 years. Maureen was born February 21, 1949 to the late Charles J. Jr. and Marjorie E. (Keyes) Shea. She graduated from St Mary's Cathedral High School and Central Michigan University with a B.A. in Special Education and Elementary Education. She previously taught in the Saginaw City School District at Norman Westlund Child Guidance Clinic, Longstreet Elementary, The Birth Through Five Program, and was a substitute teacher for the Saginaw Township Schools at Heritage High School. She is survived by the love of her life, William J. Stelter, who she married on March 17, 1973. This union was blessed with two amazing daughters and an incredible son: Jennifer (Jason) Long and their children McKenna, Ryan, and Ethan; Shea (Steve) Lampi and their children Greyson and Jacob; and Kevin Stelter. She is also survived by her mother, Marjorie; sister, Kerry Shea King; nephew, Kevin King; and niece, Erin Brasseur (John) Dolbee. Maureen was preceded in death by her father, infant brother, Charles J Shea II; brother, Kevin Shea; sister, Kathleen Shea Brasseur; and father and mother-in-law, Bernard and Julia Stelter. He was 60 years old. Reynaldo J. Rodriguez was born on March 19, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Refugio and Delfina (Jimenez) Rodriguez. Above all, Reynaldo loved and cherished his family, especially his son, grandchildren, sisters, and many extended family members and friends. Surviving are a son, Raynaldo Hernandez II, of Saginaw; six grandchildren: Raynaldo Hernandez III, Austin Hernandez, Marcelo Hernandez, Isiaha Hernandez, Alejandro Hernandez, and Athena Hernandez; two sisters: Aida (Francisco) Perez of San Antonio, TX, and Delfina Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX; a brother, Cruz Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX; a special uncle, Benito G. Matthew Stephen Ayers was born on April 8, 1969 in Saginaw to Jeanne (Burba) and Stephen S. Ayers. He graduated from Carrollton High School, and then attended Western Michigan University receiving his Associates Degree in Aviation Engineering. Matt worked for Covenant HealthCare for over 20 years in the Information Technology Department. He loved to camp, fish, golf, garden, he was an avid reader and loved caring for his pets. Matt loved to spend hours planning and cooking special events for his family and friends. He was a standing tall, proud Republican and enjoyed sporting events, especially the Red Wings.
