J. T.Forest Hills East·5 days agoScam Alert? Nice looking young man at my front door, electronic tablet in hand. "We're washing your neighbors' windows, do you want us to wash yours?" He doesn't give me a card, a name, or a company name. I ask him about my storm windows. He's not familiar with them? I tell him everyone I've called will NOT clean them because of the hassle -- removing inside windows to access the sashes and panes. "We're washing Melody's over on .... just over there," and points SW. Gives me a price of $400 or so for doing them. I ask him to count them to double check. I ask him for a written contract. I give him a business card. I see him in my back yard but he does not return to my front door. No car nearby. Odd. Casing out my house?26Like32
