Multiview, Broadcasting and Block All
Multiview allows you to see thumbnails of all sessions. Broadcasting provides screen sharing functionality, allowing one screen to be broadcast to others. This allows an instructor to broadcast their screen, or a students screen, to everyone else. Great for presentations, sharing local or web videos, or highlighting other content within a group. Block All active sessions in vSpace provides instructors or team leaders instant control to focus attention of the audience by blanking all user session screens and blocking all keyboard & mouse interactions. Other user session management controls like remote session view, send message, stop/disconnect session and session-take-over are all included.
Enhanced Audio Quality
New audio protocols to further enhance the sound quality of L-series, M-series and MX-series thin clients during multimedia content playback (e.g. web videos, Flash content).
Enhanced Smart Card Support

Health Monitoring
Deploy vSpace desktop virtualization with confidence by monitoring your Windows and vSpace resource utilization through the cloud dashboard. It's now easy to access and see insights into key health metrics including memory usage, connected servers, CPU utilization, and active users. You can see 30 days of historical data in 24-hour, 7-day and 30-day increments. Receive real-time alerts on excessive usage with the NComputing Health Monitor companion mobile app (android only).
Support for programmable computers for educators and students.
We've added the ability to communicate directly with Arduino and BBC MicroBit programmable computers.
Now each user has their own environment for programming and writing to these platforms through the USB port on the thin client. Usually, this process would require dedicated PCs or Chromebooks with monthly per-user subscriptions.
Arduino
Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, or publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board.
BBC MicroBit
BBC Micro:Bit is another popular programming platform for all sorts of cool creations, from robots to musical instruments and is widely used in many schools around the world. It can be coded from any web browser in Blocks, Javascript, Python, Scratch and more.

Are there other supported versions of vSpace?
There are two additional versions of vSpace Pro. They contain a subset or base implementation of vSpace, missing many of the latest features and enhancements. They are intended for NComputing customers who wish to stay on a long-term supported platform without the need for ongoing improvement, or for those who find the licensing of vSpace Pro Enterprise out of reach.
- vSpace Pro LTS is generally free to use if your thin clients are manufactured after January 1, 2015. Older devices will require licensing.

I have some questions about vSpace Pro compliance and the AMP program

What is vSpace Pro LTS?
vSpace Pro LTS is intended to be used by NComputing customers who wish to stay on the long-term support for their deployment without feature and functionality enhancement. This is the long-term support (LTS) version that is replacing the previously released vSpace Pro versions. NComputing does not plan on adding significant new features or enhancements to this version. However, from time to time we will release new versions of vSpace Pro LTS to address critical security patches.
What is vSpace Pro Enterprise?
vSpace Pro Enterprise is the focal point for future enhancements and development. vSpace Pro Enterprise already includes advanced features such as scalability improvements for large deployments, latest Windows OS support including Windows Server 2019 & 2022, windows 10 & 11, and multi-touch monitor support. vSpace Pro Enterprise also supports the latest endpoint solutions.
All connected devices must have the appropriate license.
- These devices require AMP licenses (SKU: vSpacePro-SW-1A): MX100, M300, L-series and RX300 devices
- These devices require vSpace Connection licenses (SKU: vSpacePro-LeafOS): RX420(RDP), RX-RDP+, EX500 and 3rd party devices running LEAF OS. Devices with these licenses prebundled are available directly from NComputing. Contact your sales rep for details.

Is vSpace Pro free to download and use?
Yes, vSpace Pro 11.3 LTS and vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition versions are both free to download. The following restrictions apply to use the software:
- For vSpace Pro 11.3 LTS is free to use with eligible NComputing devices (see FAQ #5).
- For vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition, you will be required to have an active subscription to AMP on all connected devices to allow more than 5 concurrent connections.

If you decide not to subscribe to AMP, can I still use vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition?
Yes, however without AMP vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition will only support a maximum of 5 concurrent sessions with a 'trial mode' message.
I am currently using vSpace Pro 10.x, 11.0, 11.1 or 11.2. Should I migrate to vSpace Pro LTS?
Yes. NComputing strongly recommends that you upgrade your older vSpace Pro installations to at least vSpace Pro LTS. If you encounter any issues with older vSpace Pro versions we will request that you first upgrade to vSpace Pro LTS in order for us to assist you.
Can I apply an update to my vSpace Pro 11.x to upgrade to vSpace Pro LTS?
Yes, you can upgrade your existing vSpace Pro 11.x deployments to vSpace Pro LTS.
If you have existing vSpace Pro 10.x, we recommend you to uninstall vSpace Pro 10.x first before installing vSpace Pro LTS.
Can I still perform online registration or offline registration with earlier versions of vSpace Software?
On July 1st, 2020, the following changes to available registrations will go into affect.
- New server registration is available for:
- vSpace Pro LTS
- vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition
- Registration will no longer be available for the following legacy systems. Users of these systems will need to upgrade:
- vSpace Server 4.x*
- vSpace Server 6.x*
- vSpace Server 7.x
- vSpace Server 8.x
- vSpace Pro 10.x
- vSpace Pro 11.0-11.2
