Here’s what else to consider
Your climate change research is significantly enhanced by the utilization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a powerful tool that allows for the analysis and visualization of spatial and geographic data. Satellite imagery, a critical component of GIS, provides comprehensive and detailed visual data from space, offering a unique perspective on the Earth's surface. This imagery is pivotal for tracking changes over time, such as glacial retreat, deforestation, and urban expansion, which are crucial indicators of climate change. By analyzing these images, you can identify patterns, monitor environmental transformations, and validate climate models, thereby enriching your research with empirical evidence.

Satellite images have become indispensable tools in the field of ice monitoring, aiding greatly in understanding polar dynamics. In tracking the melt, estimation of the ecosystem's health, satellite images, accurate data on ice cap changes, is made by satellite images and the impacts it has ecologically. From such an aerial perspective, this gives useful guidance for proactive decisions on coming up with ways of mitigating climate change effects on polar environments. In my experience, I have used Rstudio to monitor the glaciar coverage in different areas of Latin America and learning programming to analyze satellite images is something that saves a lot of time and money.
