This lace has a pretty cool history. It worth the drive to see itWe were there the end of January and the house wasn’t open. Im not sure if it’s ever open to the public. But there’s an old cabin/barn and cellar you can walk through.

LISA HANEY — Google review

Happened upon this little gem purely by accident as we were out for a drive across S. Idaho. We lucked out on a Wednesday in March that they were doing some tours for local kids so the store and visitors center were open. They have put alot of effort into restoring many of the buildings, sites around the property have informative placards and the visitors center has some super interesting displays. The staff were very friendly and were happy to share their knowledge of the history of the place. Worth it!

J.k.D — Google review

Very nice historic site has a lot of informational boards telling the history of the area . Well kept site.Has clean restroom and also the is a visitor center but it was closed the day we went.

Robert Rebekah Stoddard — Google review

The spirit here was great! I love the renovated buildings. The front building had a long strip of stuff with things about this area. Like important people and so forth. It was all well marked for paths and where to go. The sign said they are only open in Sundays, but that's just the buildings and tour stuff. The outside stuff is great!

MacKenzy M — Google review

Came to the Halloween experience and were met with mismanagement from the beginning. There was absolutely no organization or strategy to navigating the crowds. The ladies running tickets were nice however they couldn't even solve simple math and gave the wrong amount of change. Waited over an hour in the waiting area where the employee who was there to tell the history by the fire didn't speak a single word. After growing frustrated with the confusion they finally called a group to inform them they weren't even ready yet. Obviously dont call a group until you are ready or almost ready. To top it off our group was called and brought all the way back to the front building to be moved up one whole spot! A total waste of time. Then we were told it would be another 4 hours before we would even enter. Keep in mind they are supposed to close at 11 P.M. and we wouldn't even be in until 2 A.M. and we arrived at 8 P.M. What a horrible setup and super poor management all around. Probably the worst Halloween experience in Idaho due to extremely poor management. Only grace I'll give is the service was decent and a refund was given upon a rather forced engagement and this is their first time open since COVID-19. However, change must come for this attraction if it wishes to compete with the other popular experiences. As well as if it wishes to stay open for years to come. Stay home, save your money, and enjoy the exact same experience of sitting around a fire.

Fantastic site to visit! The volunteers and workers have done so much to clean the place and it looks amazing! Thank you guys so much for all the hard work to make the place somewhere people can go to learn more about Idaho History!

FIELD TRIP! I helped chaperone our elementary school field to the Sticker Ranch. The volunteers were great at keeping the attention of all the students. It was very fascinating seeing the different buildings and how they were used back in the days. It was unfortunate that a fluke rainstorm swept in right as we were eating lunch... There is not a good eating spot when the rain is blowing sideways. The kids still seemed to have fun though.

National monument marking the remains of a WWII relocation camp in a national park.

This is a very nice National Historic Site. It was a sad time in history, but I can understand why it happened. The reprucussions which happened at the end of the war were not good. Most families never were able to get back the things they lost, but all the families who stayed in the area have made the cultural heritage of the valley so much richer than before.

Scott Whitney — Google review

We were too late in the season to get into the visitor's center, but we enjoyed reading the kiosks. It was a windy day, which lent authenticity to the experience, because the wind rarely ceases out there!

Norma Odiaga — Google review

Interested in this place for several reasons but today it was for the Tour of Honor. I have mixed feelings about the internment of the Japanese People during WWII and right or wrong it happened. When I served in the Army I worked with a Mr. Tokio Hyashi, he was five years old when his family was moved to one of the camps. He and I were good friends and co-workers. So here we have a reminder of what can happen when war and paranoia grips our Nation. You can read the plaques in the photos I'v posted here. For me the Honor Roll spoke volumes to the American Spirit by the number of Japanese People who still fought for this country during WWII.

Ken Tracy — Google review

Most buildings are gone but there's a lot of good history.Very sad that our country treated these legal immigrants like this with no restitution to them until most were already deceased.

susan michael — Google review

Off the beaten path, it's a small but important historical site that documents and preserves the facility used to house Japanese Americans following the attack on Pearl Harbor. While there are very few elements of the internment camp left, those that are there are preserved very well and give you an idea just how large this facility was - the 7th largest population in Idaho at its peak. Take the time to visit this monument. A new Visitors Center is under construction.

Robert Kokrda — Google review

There is a lot of conflicting information on the internet about this site. It looks like there is a lot of work going on to make this a much better site, but as of May 2019 this is not a place to visit. You can take a walk around the camp and see some foundations of old buildings with a few informative signs describing life in the camp. There are also reconstructions of part of the perimeter fence, a guard tower, and a baseball field. Overall, skip this and see if it improves in the future. NOTE: there were no services available when we visited.

Byron Olson — Google review

There is a monument available all the time which was the original guard house and tower. Across the street is the visitor center, which does not have a sign out front and may at first glance appear to be a house or other building. I've added a photo of it so you can find it. The visitor center has nice restrooms, a 30 minute film, a very small gift shop type area with stamp for National Park visitors, and plenty of interactive displays for explaining the history of the site. It is a sobering place with a long drive to get there - plenty of time to imagine what that train ride must have felt like for the imprisoned families.

Charlotte Dungan — Google review

Annette served as a wonderful tour guide who provided great insight about the Hunt Camp history. The facility is modern and the presentations were very respectful. Highly recommend to anyone curious about what it was like during war time in the internment camp.

Nicholas C — Google review

As of today it appears that the development of the Monument is an ongoing build. The visitors center looks to be brand new, but was unfortunately closed when I made a visit. The historical info located all around the property is very informative.I will visit again to see the growth of this historical monument and get my stamp for my passport.

Mike Lavine — Google review

This is a roadside stop, well worth the trip, to see how they lived in 1942-44. Why they put the camp in the middle of Idaho farm country is a mystery to me. Has very nice "creek" (really a river) next to it, that brought some joy to the internees. Sad part of US history during WWII.

Expansive state park with camping, rock climbing & hiking, amid impressive granite rock formations.

Great granite blocks! Hikers will enjoy scrambling among them, and climbers recognize this place as among the highest concentrations of quality moderate trad routes in the country. Great place to acclimitize before heading to higher peaks. Hikers - please know your limits, the climbers you may see free soloing or roped climbing have trained in ways you haven't.

David Maltz — Google review

8/25/22- City of Rocks is a beautiful remote location. All campsites had something special to offer, well set out tent pads, great views, easy access to awesome climbing routes or trails, some sites were walk-ins set among the privacy of trees and foliage, others are adjoining parking lots which may be an advantage to those wanting to be near restrooms. Sites could be found completely isolated or clustered together if your camping with a larger group. The restrooms are pit toilets but were immaculately clean and stocked. Friendly park rangers serviced the restrooms daily and were present to answer any questions. There was a water spigot at the Bath Rock parking area but was being serviced at the time of our visit. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again!

Holy Moly, Rock & Rolly. This place is amazing! So many beautiful rocks to enjoy. I'm a bit bummed that it's a little early to enjoy the whole park, due to snow and road conditions. They really need to pave the main road. But I will be back, maybe mid May. Rangers at the Visitor's Center are really helpful and cool.

Rick Jones — Google review

This place has a ton of hiking 🥾 trails and as most of you know, it has all levels of rock climbing. 🧗‍♂️I, myself, do not do any climbing other than into my bed every night. 🛌😁The rock formations are pretty cool. 😎There’s plenty of places to camp but I’m not a camper either. 🤷‍♀️So we stayed in a hotel nearby. I just like to take pictures 📸of these beautiful sites and the adventurer’s. So, here’s some of my photos.

LISA HANEY — Google review

Beautiful landscape. It is not the most dramatic rock formation in the world but if you live a few hours nearby, a visit is well worth it. Allegedly the rocks are from 2 billion years ago. We were lucky to see it while covered with a thin veil in snow. I especially love all the vegetation that looks like little balls of rocks too. There is good hotel options around. The visitor center is also a gem and certainly do read the geology book there.

eva chan — Google review

What a gorgeous place! I feel like it gets overshadowed by Craters of the Moon or the big national parks to the east, but City of Rocks is most definitely worth a visit. In addition to the spectacular rock formations, there’s a lot of neat information on the Oregon Trail emigrants. One thing I’ll note is to definitely check the website before going to see if the road is open. We did not and the route we took was closed. However the park ranger, who could not have been friendlier and more helpful, coached us in.

Alex Demas — Google review

City of Rocks is awesome! So much to do for literally anyone! Awesome rock climbing, great hikes, accessible look out points, and the vibes are immaculate. Everyone was so friendly and respectful. To me, that really made this place special. The road through the park is gravel and it did get a little slippery when it rained briefly. Personally, I think that adds to the appeal. You really feel like you're out in the mountains and I really appreciate that. Highly highly recommend visiting!

Collin Bowser — Google review

Beautiful granite natural marvel. Onway to Twin fall city, first we reached Visitor center for information. It opens from 8am to 4.30pm. With passage of time weathering of granite rocks occurred giving different shapes to rocks, displaying steeples, cathedral, pyramids, windows etc. Few important rocks are Treasure, Register, Camp, Elephant, Bath rock to see. One can enjoy Rock climbing, camping, hiking, horse riding, picnicking activities. No entry fee for park.Pets must be leashed.Drones flying is prohibited.Campfire is allowed in designated areas.Washroom facility is limited.Beautiful place to enjoy granite spell bound beauty.

Anil Aggarwal — Google review

Wow! My dogs and I enjoyed walking around and would love to take longer trails once the snow melts!

Love this park. It is beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was there were no bathrooms, you have to go all the way to the visitor center, which wS well maintained. There also isn't no parking. You have to pull off to the side of the road. It does offer several camp grounds that are located in the park. The park is well maintained. I will definitely return, this is a must see

Charlene Sherry Kay Seres — Google review

We stayed the week before Christmas for a night. We were the only ones in the campground area and it was AMAZING. Beautiful views, lots of animal tracks, and cool rocks to explore. Such a cool spot.

Mattie Oveross — Google review

This is a rock climbers paradise. As a person who has done a little rock climbing it was interesting to see. As a hiker, we hiked the 6.5 mile south and north Creek circle loop. It was a fun hike with some views but nothing spectacular. I think the most confusing aspect was the campground situation. The campsites are spread throughout the reserve on the main road or just off it. We reserved campsite 3, not realizing it was 4 miles south of the main group of campsites and main road. If you want to be in the midst of the main city of rocks you should reserve a site 5-xx. 1-4 are 4 miles south. Site 3 was ok but it sits right in a gap in the rocks and if it is windy the wind will probably howl right past your tent or small camper like it did while we were there. Making it too windy for a fire or sitting outside in the evening. Site 2 is a little more protected and site 4 is a tent site only and a decent walk from your vehicle which would sit on a very sloped surface. We were glad we went but one night was enough to get a good idea what the reserve is like since we are not climbers.

Dave Highsmith — Google review

Incredible. Quite a few people and a lot of kiddos. It's hard to not act like one of the kids when you're here. It's so much fun climbing and crawling around on the rocks. Wear shoes with any type of grip, there's a lot of slick rock. Make sure to check out Register Rock, where the people on the Oregon/California Trail wrote their names on the rock in axle grease. Very cool. This place was also a place of reverence for the native people.I hope everyone is respectful of this beautiful place. They do have vault restrooms and trash cans, so utilize those. (By throwing away your trash and packing out what you packed in.)

Stacie Hansen — Google review

One day will not be enough! Camp at the twin sisters and take the large loop one day, and the more inner trails the next! Read up on the history before you go, and you won't be able to stop imagining all the natives/cowboys and pioneers that came through. Bring bear spray, there are big cats. I didn't see or hear any on my trip but stay prepared!

Joshua Matal — Google review

I don’t know how this place can be so unknown—it’s fantastic! Great little hikes, tons of climbing and bouldering, camping, stunning rock formations and wildflowers, and plenty for birders to scope out. The folks at the Visitors Center are well informed, kind, and extremely helpful as well. My friend and I spent several hours here, but this is well worth staying a few days. The National Parks Service app has a couple of great self-guided tours for some of the shorter hikes so you can learn about the geology and history of the area too.

Karly Bryant — Google review

Mostly known for its climbing opportunities. We found the hikes to be pretty spectacular in June. If you wait until July or August, it's probably going to be too hot because a lot of the hikes are exposed in high desert. The geology is amazing.Stop at the visitor center first and talk to Russ. Pick up a map. Do the interpretive trail using their website explanations. All the roads in the park are dirt, but they're well-maintained and smooth.

Rock climbing, bouldering & hiking among massive stone formations with prehistoric pictographs.

The State has done a great job here. Great destination for birding. Really complements the adjacent City of Rocks National Reserve quite nicely. Got a little lost at times while on the trails but with a little bit of brainpower it’s easy to find your way.

Nicholas Reithel — Google review

We've climbed and camped at City of Rocks before but this time we added climbing at Castle Rocks as well. The park is just as beautiful and well maintained. A nice covered pavilion/group picnic area with vault toilets, and garbage/recycle cans are near the lodge and bunkhouse. There is also a small fishing pond and disc golf course nearby as well. The trails and climbing routes are fantastic. They even have a small protected area with ancient pictographs. Please remember to respect these wild and cultural resources and help the park staff keep these wonderful places open for all to enjoy.

This is an excellent place to have a climbing trip! We go every year. We started out renting yurts here, which are super fun, but eventually we switched over to the bunk house which has been great. Castle Rock is a fantastic are to rock climb. The four pitch on the south face is fun, but the canyon on the backside is a really diverse are and has tons of runs. The north east side of castle rocks, over by the Taco, has some extremely fun climbs as well. That are is a little less busy, which can be nice.

Jackson Lloyd — Google review

Beautiful place! $7 entrance fee is well worth it!We took the 3 mile hike around castle rock. It’s a good hike for beginners/families.

Rebecca Knudson — Google review

Great hiking around large granite monolithic stone shapes. Vault toilets at trailheads were clean and stocked. Had picnic tables at trail heads. It gets hot in July so short hikes for dogs.

Nica Grossheim — Google review

So many cool things to come climb and see! It's a beautiful park with a five dollar vehicle entry fee to help reduce impact. There are loads of hiking trails all through the park either becoming loops or leading to climbing areas! It's amazing out here!

Quinn Dexter — Google review

My wife and I kept pointing at all the little piles of rocks along the way and saying “oh look that must be castle rock!”We did not have high expectations, especially as we closed in on the destination and couldn’t see *anything* that looked remotely interesting. Then, in the blink of an eye, these giant stone formations seemingly appear out of nowhere dominating the horizon. From a distance they appear majestic, almost like something out of lord of the rings.Up close the magnitude and beauty are breathtaking. Countless trails, new sights, and wonder fill this place. You could get lost just thinking about the grandeur that surrounds you.We went late in the day with uncertain expectations, only to realize we didn’t have enough time. We plan on returning soon to take it all in.

michelle stetson baker — Google review

This was a really fun place to go see, a good excuse to go travel around see some small towns and hit some dirt roads. I like the rock formations it's kind of neat how they're out there and so many of them. Other places in this area you can look out and see on forever and apparently they're in the area the old California wagon Trail went through

Best ski resort in the magic valley. Very good location to learn and practice skiing and snowboarding. A little of everything for difficulty if you want to practice carving run down instructor if you want to have a flatter spot to practice 180-360 run down milk. If you want to send it on large snow drifts run down yahoo. A hidden gem where you can ride down the mountain instead of waiting .

Pomerelle is a wonderful place for family activities. I taught my 10, 8, and 6 year old how to ski last year, and it is now thier favorite thing to do. This year I am teaching my 5 yr old to ski. We are having a blast.

Troy Peterson — Google review

Skied at Pomerelle for the first time today, and it was great. This mountain has good snow and enough different types of terrain and runs for all skill levels. The views at the top of the mountain are fantastic. We’ll for sure come back and I’m already looking forward for the next time we visit.

Ben Peck — Google review

An absolute gem. I learned to ski at pomerelle mountain and have been going for over a decade. The mountain continues go be upgraded and usually has great snow. The lodge is very cozy and has pretty good food. This mountain has a great hill for beginners and is a perfect place to bring beginners. It is never very crowded and you rarely have to wait to get on the lifts.

Tyler Jensen — Google review

Pomerelle is great, especially if you enjoy effortless skiing. Some of my advanced and expert skiers think that there is not enough challenge here, with only one black trail and no double blacks. But the intermediate blue trails are delightful and varied. One very long blue trail has been sculpted into a series of undulating steps, which is fun to ski. Also, there are lots of green trails suitable for beginners. Best of all, Pomerelle gets lots of good dry snow aka powder.

Emilio Trampuz — Google review

My new favorite spot! This resort is so much fun and the snow base is impressive. Yes it's not a huge resort with steep terrain, BUT if you're looking for quick, nice groomed, fresh runs then it is perfect. The lack of people crowding the mountain was a huge benefit for me. It is a peaceful and simple resort with a beautiful drive up the mountain. The lift operators were diligently working on the ramps each time I came though and the entire staff was very friendly. I look forward to returning, thanks for making my day Pomerelle!! 💚

Jessica Jaeger — Google review

The snow conditions and trails were great. Very skiable terrain with fresh powder and groomed trails, and especially liked the powder and drifts in the ungroomed trails… what an adventure. Even the black diamond runs were very skiable, even for novices. Just beautiful. Lodge was basic, but we were not there to hangout on the lodge.

Pomerelle is tucked away into a small mountain (peak at just less than 9000ft), this resort is small, but has 32 runs and endless "create your own adventure" through-the-trees trails. Our kids are 15,13,11 and 9, we all greatly enjoy that there are hills for all the skill levels here. Check out the sweet ski discount packages they have for homeschoolers! (And other way cool discount packages).

I took my son snowboarding here for his birthday and didn’t see the hours posted for half day (my mistake) We showed up in the morning and had to leave by noon because of other plans. The owner was very understanding and let us in for the first half of the day instead of making us pay for the full day. Thanks for helping make his day. Also the snow was great, the trails are well groomed and the rental gear is pretty decent.

I've been coming here for years and with the other local mountain I have access to suddenly raising their prices to compete with Jackson hole and targhee it is the best option fun diverse runs for intermediates. If you're looking for double blacks look elsewhere but staff are super friendly and helpful I go on weekdays and can usually count the number of cars in the lot on 2 hands it's just great. Great snow and 4 decent parks currently. I think they have recently upgraded their lifts and we never seem to get delayed by the lifts

Great lil state park and fantastic campground. Two small loops of camping, looked like every spot had electric and water. It is kind of expensive $25-30 for out-of-staters. Showers were nice as well, super clean! Trails and other areas to explore too. 10/10 would stop at again.

Nick Cornell — Google review

Well-maintained, quiet, beautiful park. Tons of groomed trails, lots of amazing rock formations, diverse wildlife and plant varieties, not to mention the most incredible views of the Snake River. Amenities include several docks, a boat ramp, fishing area, 18 hole disc golf course, an exploratory visitor center, several cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. Cabins have an air conditioner, mini fridge, table, chairs, bunk beds single over double) and a couch that that slides out into another double bed. RV sites have all hookups except sewer but there is a conveniently located dump station. Camp bathrooms are clean and the upper loop bathroom has showers. All camp sites have a fire pit and picnic bench and most have shade half the day from the surrounding trees. Camp sites are far enough apart and surrounded by juniper trees so there is enough privacy. Most of the year it is a bit breezy which is nice because it's a high desert climate. Overall, one of my most favorite state parks.

Devin Stanley — Google review

Every time I’ve passed by the sign on the interstate, I’ve always wanted to stop. I finally had the time to do so. Not sure if it was because of the holiday weekend or what but I was slightly disappointed. The overall condition of the area wasn’t ideal. The visitors center looked overgrown and unkept. The were gates closed and trails blocked. Other patrons were driving like lunatics. Overall the views I did get to see were okay. Much better in the opposite side of the interstate where you can find register rock. There some neat rock formations down a dirt road on that side as well.

valerie grider — Google review

We had a great time camping overnight here! Great staff at the visitor’s center that helped us get checked in. They sell ice and wood there for good prices. We really loved our campsite location. We could see the river in both directions out of camp. Super clean bathrooms and really decent showers that are all lit at night. Every site has water and electricity with both RV hookups and regular outlets. A little road noise but the sounds of crickets drowns it out at night. Absolutely beautiful area and quite a few areas to fish. We enjoyed hiking all over the park and everything was close to our site. If you like to play disc golf, they have two courses. If you want to try, they sell discs in the visitor’s center. Over all a super fun and family friendly place to stay! We will be going back every year.

Val McAllister — Google review

Nice place with a great disc golf course, probably the best course I've played and I've played quite a few. The bathrooms are too few and far between and just average with flush toilets. The campsites are kinda cool with large rocks for kids to play on, with good distance between sites. You definitely want the lower loop to stay away from highway noise. The showers are hot.

Nice park with history on the Snake River! We camped here for one night. Our campsite (32) was a little tight with the trees. We noticed that there were more spacious sites after walking around the campground. The park has nice walking trails and boat dock. We would definitely go back if driving through the area.

We love this campground. The campground host was so nice. We were there before the lower campground was open, so the upper campground was packed. They only had one bathroom available in the campground for everyone to use. Sometimes, you had to wait 20 minutes or more for someone to come out. They finally unlocked another bathroom at the end of the day on Friday. The visitor center was only open Monday to Thursday. This is a great place to camp at. We met a great family from the Netherlands. There are plenty of trails to hike on, and you can go down and fish along the river. They have great cabins of you don't want to camp in a tent or RV. All the sites have electric and water.

Stayed a week. Pretty area. Hiking and fishing opportunities. Clean restrooms. Stayed in Upper campground, which it turns out is a bit noisier due to freeway noise. Would stay in lower campground in the future. Oregon Trail trail was very interesting, as was Register Rock. Visitor Center is informative.

Beautiful and great for hikes. Love the scenic views. Campground is also very nice. Caught quite a few fish too

We had a wonderful time! The Cottontail cabin had a great view and was close to the trails throughout the park. The cabin was clean with a mini fridge and a/c unit (even though it struggled with the heat) which helped a lot. Beds were ok and the shade over the picnic table in the afternoon makes a big difference. Will be back!

Stayed in the Sagebrush cabin. Wonderful location. Nice view of the river from the front porch and fire pit area. Cabins are very small. One very small table and two small beds. Window air conditioner that specifically says “don’t use on high”. Park host was friendly and drove up minutes after we pulled in. Cabin itself was so so. We were just passing through and only needed to stay one quick night on the way back from Moab. The blinds over the windows were broken so you couldn’t raise them up. Window sills were filthy, looking as if they had never been cleaned. Mattresses on both beds had some type of polyester? cover. Nothing that gets cleaned. We were assured by the park host that the restrooms and showers were “big and nice and hot showers” They were big. No toilet paper in half the restrooms or paper towels. Sinks had plenty of hot water, but non existent in the showers. There was someone else’s left over beer can in the fire pit. Would stop to enjoy the State Park, probably not stay the night.

Beautiful park. Nicely wooded campsite. Crazy amount of flies while we cooked dinner over a campfire. Our site had a nice campfire ring and large picnic table. There was a nice clean bath house very close to our campsite as well. Nice little trails to walk around with a beautiful view of the snake river.

Awesome scenery. Rained on us. What part of arid did the sky not understand? Rubbing a little sage made a wonderful aroma. I can see why the Native Americans liked this bush. And the lichen and moss! I am fascinated by them.

Museum

Specialty Museums

Modern museum showcasing exhibits on historic cleaning techniques & tools, with brooms, tubs & more.

The Museum of Clean is a really fun experience. The displays are clever and informative, with just enough “potty humor” to please even the most conservative of crowds. There are lots of interactive displays that leave you wondering just how anyone managed to have a clean house before a fusion vacuum and modern plumbing. The museum imparts the idea of being clean, not just how to clean. Definitely a worthwhile visit if you have a free afternoon.

We weren't sure what to expect but it was a fun time. Our daughters loved the Kid Planet! We all learned a lot about the history of cleaning. It was all really interesting and it was fun to see it! Staff were friendly and at it was our first time, she made sure we knew where everything was.

John Burgoyne — Google review

Most highly recommend this delightful, unique museum! You will not regret it! They also have things for children. I loved all the history and creativity found there. Thanks Don for your vision to a truly enjoyable place. I took over 100 pictures, but here are some. I loved the sculptures, art gallery, clean orchestra, the vacuum floor, etc!

You don't know the meaning of clean until you have been here! This may just have been the quirkiest of all the quirky places we've been so far on our cross country road trip. 100% worth the modest admission fee. Interesting, fun, funny. Exhibits for everyone, young and old. It was a very great way to spend a couple of hours. Very valuable!

R Hill — Google review

Incredible experience for the whole family! This museum offers an abundance of knowledge on cleaning like never before. It's the realization of one man's remarkable dream. Don, the visionary behind it all, can often be found strolling through the museum, ready to answer any questions. If you're fortunate enough to encounter him, I strongly urge you to seize the opportunity and engage in a conversation.

Really amazing! I had no idea this place existed! They had fun things for the kids to do such as cleaning laundry in a bucket with a plunger washer thing and then they could run it through a ringer and then pin it on a clothes line.Vacuums for days! It's good clean fun 😆

Bird Fleck — Google review

Super interesting and pleasantly surprised at the variety. Very interactive, kiddos loved the kid dome and Texas sized object scavenger hunt. We could have spent more time there if kiddos weren't hungry, so definitely plan to spend a few hours. Definitely worth checking out, even if you don't like to clean 👌

May not have been something I was terribly interested in, but once I stepped inside this huge museum, the passion of the owner, Don Aslett was quite apparent. He has dedicated his life to building a world wide cleaning Co, writing books, and collecting thousands of rare cleaning items such as vacuums, brooms, mops, etc. and placing them on display. The staff was very friendly and as a Harvest Host guest, we are thankful for the night's stay.

Stacey Pennington — Google review

Such a cool museum, I’ve never seen so many vacuums! Also the owner talked to us and showed us how some vacuums works, he is so passionate and it was contagious. Well worth the time and cheap price!

agkilian — Google review

A really fun and unique museum! I went on my own and had a blast learning about all things clean. There were a couple field trips there too and the kids looked like they were having a great time!

Julie Brough — Google review

Fun short break in a road trip. Hidden gem.Never seen that many vacuums in my life. It's the history of the vacuum. You can get through the whole exhibit in under 45 minutes.

We visited the museum in September while we were In town for a ISU-Central Arkansas football game the next day. The group I was with didn’t know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised by what we found & the extent to which this museum was presented! It was fun to learn about the cleaning industry while we all told stories about how a certain product played a part in our lives whether us using a product or or parents or grandparents using a product, or any type of commercials we remembered seeing. The museum itself was plenty big enough for their exhibits, & not shockingly at all, it was very clean. We were able to explore at our own pace which we enjoyed as well. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our side trip to the museum & would tell others to go there if they ever find themselves in Pocatello!

What a cool place to visit. Had the honor of speaking with the creator and long time clean freak Don. His love and passion for "clean" are reflected in his great sense of humor. I enjoyed not only the exhibits but the cool art made from repurposed materials as well as his personal art collection on display. Thanks DonMissouri

Valarie Mceuen — Google review

Ok, so I have been to maybe hundreds of museums in my 60+ years. This one is totally "unique"! Meets the definition of "1-of-a-kind" to the T! I could have spent hours, but we were passing through and could only give an hour to the collection! Amazing collection for a man passionate about the finer art of cleaning! And yes, that is the founder Don laying back in the chair in the photo. They assured me he is only napping ! Got to check this place out if you are nearby just to appreciate what we conveniently use every day!

Such a neat Musuem, I'd highly recommend checking it out and it was great to meet the man who started it all. My friend Jared and Jordan and I had a lot of fun looking around. So many neat things to look at and three floors.

This place is such a great place to take the littles!! It was a great combo between hands on learning and learning from repetition. Only recommendation I have is ic they offered tours every 30 45 min for people who's son is very very smart and had to READ every card and take in ever part of text. Haha there were questions he had I couldn't answer haha

Parking was confusing. Facilities were dated. Displays were pretty lack luster. I did like the long horn bison skull.

The place to be in eastern Idaho for paleo-geekery! What this museum lacks in size, it more than makes up for in heart, and they've got some really awesome research going on. If you live in the area, they're constantly doing outreach events such as public lectures and kids' activities. Their annual Fossil Fest is a wonderful opportunity to speak at length to their researchers and learn more about what they've been working on, as well as providing plenty of fun things for kids to participate in (not to be missed is the Helicoprion tooth whorl Red Vine guillotine... if you know, you know). IMNH is the state repository for fossils, so they have an amazing collection of specimens, only a few of which are on display at the moment. Some outreach activities include going to visit collections, and in my opinion that never gets old, especially since they're adding new specimens all the time. I love having the opportunity to get up close with the cutting edge of research. One silver lining to their small size is that the museum is almost never crowded (I think the only time I actually saw it crowded was at Fossil Fest), so if you or your family need a relaxed environment, IMNH is a perfect place to chill and quietly look at specimens without much else going on or it feeling too people-y. I enjoy going there to do paleoart sketches, and it's a wonderful place to just zen out with the fossils for a few hours.I'm also extremely impressed with how friendly the staff and researchers are. The staff are super personable, and if you visit regularly they actually start to recognize you and are happy to see you. The paleontologists graciously take time out of their busy schedules to do public lectures, and even allow ample time after the lecture to take the audience around the gallery and collections, answer questions, and generally talk paleo shop. I always have fruitful discussions with them, and I appreciate that I can get as in-depth and technical as I want and they're happy to field my inquiries. If you're a Pocatello area resident, or just moved here, and you love paleontology, I strongly recommend buying an annual membership because there's plenty to do at IMNH throughout the year (members also get free access to events). If you're visiting town and looking for fun things to do, IMNH is the go-to place to get your science fix in Pocatello. If your trip happens to coincide with a museum event, I would definitely recommend scheduling it into your itinerary.

Loved the shark, I also loved the diverse relics they had depicting ancient Idaho. Well worth a visit, I've been through more than twice.

Shann Wilder — Google review

Smaller museum that's part of the ISU campus. Features a good amount of information about the prehistoric area and lots of fossils. There are some impressive lifesize skeletons of animals and some heads of fish and sharks. The museum is priced just right for the size so we did not feel like we were being overcharged. Good place to spend some time in Pocatello.

Tristan Rodeback — Google review

For a small museum, they have a variety of exhibits. Some were a little hard to view ( mounted/stored) in ways that made it hard to see. Such as the critters in jars. Glad we went.

Valarie Mceuen — Google review

Great museum! There are a lot of fun things to see and learn. Definitely a must see!

Dana Stiffler — Google review

It is a small museum but it has culture and that is something we are losing in this day and age, I think with some time and help it could grow into a great place.

Trina Acello — Google review

Great educational place to take your kids to! Hands on large room with fun exploratory stations for elementary on up to engage in! Exhibit itself is fairly large and worth the ticket price to go through. The biggest specimens are at the very end in the back of the museum. Awesome gift shop with lots of cool things to purchase, too!

Great day at Idaho Zoo. The sun was out and the zoo was great. Very neat and educational experience. We really enjoyed the exhibits. My favorite was the Bald Eagle. It was being cared for by a Veterinary Doctor. It was very beautiful to see our national symbol so close. The eagle was shy but it did turn our way at one time. We would definitely recommend a visit.

What a fun little zoo!We went on free zoo day. Tons of people and it was to be expected but over all we all had a great time! There’s a good amount of animals to see from peaco*cks, elk, bears, turkeys and more. Both my sons where amazed with the grizzly bear.Only thing that we all didn’t like was the steep hill!! Not knee friendly at all.

Vanessa Recio — Google review

Wonderful experience. Way better than we expected. Would not recommend for seniors or someone with health conditions due to steep hills to climb. The exhibits are so close to you. Petting zoo is included. Would not pass up an opportunity to return 😁

This was a great way to spend an hour. I wished there was a snack counter. The walk is pretty steep up one path, so just know that people might see you breathing hard... But who cares. 😂 It was a small, but enjoyable zoo.

Ashlee Gibson — Google review

Small zoo, was very enjoyable. Clean and not crowded, I was able to see all animals easily, with no rush. Glad I went.

Dillon johns — Google review

We stopped by this zoo on our way out of Pocatello, and it was worth it. I'm a huge fan of zoos, and the grizzly bear exhibit was probably the best I've ever seen. Nice and spacious with cool water features. The two Grizzlies in the exhibit seemed really happy, as well. There were a couple of exhibits that were really small, and you can tell it was affecting the animals' happiness. That's the reason for the three stars. That being said, we did notice a lot of construction on new exhibits/paths for the guests so it seems as though plans are in place for those small exhibits. We paid $13 for two people, which is phenomenal. I would even say that the price is too low. We would have happily paid $10 per person.

Max Hamilton — Google review

We came here with a group to clean this place up. It’s a pretty small zoo compared to like 5-10 years ago. As I was walking I noticed lots of the animals are gone and the exhibits are empty. Some of the animals like the bison and the fox are sitting in there area looking sad and lonely. This zoo isn’t as popular as it was back then. Entry cost is pretty cheap but I recommend going here if you want to take a walk without any waits.

Neon Genesis — Google review

The zoo Idaho is so good. When I'm a little boy, I always go to the zoo and look at animals. But now I'm 17. Zoo animals are boring. But if your kids want to go. Please go and some of the tickets are cheap. And the store is pretty good too.

Nolan Ma — Google review

Really fun zoo, had many fun animals, and was definitely worth the visit. The bears weren’t always out, but when they came out it was SO cool!

Ammon Bitton — Google review

We just moved to the area and figured our 5 year old would enjoy the local zoo. For $55 we got the family pass that pays for itself on the third visit for our family. Our 5 year old enjoyed seeing both the black bear and grizzly bear up close. It took us just about an hour to see the whole place. A lot of work is being done to the place right now, so hopefully it is even better later this fall.Overall our experience was good for the time and money spent.I would hope that as renovations are done, more room is given to the animals. The Black Bears definitely need an upgrade.

Adam Wardle — Google review

Super fun zoo! Had a lot of animals, and was bigger than I expected. Unfortunately because of the avian flu, a lot of birds were not there. I was even able to feed the goats with all my spare quarters! Was easily able to find the entrance, and cages looked great to me!

Great little ski hill. First time skiing Pebble and was quite surprised at how much vertical they have. Nice lifts, nice area for beginners, good mix of terrain, well groomed and fantastic views.

Pebble Creek is one of the craziest places to do skiing. Their selling point is - If you can ski here, then you can ski at any place in the world. There is not enough flat space for beginners. Their lifts are very good. Prices are reasonable too. They offer some good lessons. Don’t miss the lunch or brunch in the cafe and enjoy a warm cup of coffee.

Fantastic Ski resort. Home to amazing skiers. A little homestyle resort that can be quite tricky with lots of complicated terrain and plenty of other terrain as well. Geared more towards more experienced skiers, but is certainly an excellent place to learn as well. Phenomenal crew and staffing. Lifties are friendly and always fun to be around. The whole environment there is fantastic. I love it every time I go.

This is my first season here and it is a great mountain. Awesome views, picture is from Lower Canyon. Why have they not added any features to their terrain parks yet this year?

Andrew Blinn — Google review

Pebble Creek ski area is located around 20 minutes away from Pocatello. I love this place because it offers more advanced and steeper trails while maintaining great snow. The aspen lift is perfect for beginners while the skyline lift is more for intermediate/advanced skiers. The staff is always friendly and have lots of energy so this place won’t seem dead. Their food is a bit pricey but is always worth it. Their fries are well known and popular and I recommend getting them while your here.

Neon Genesis — Google review

Just got into skiing this year for the first time ever. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for skiing at the moment. I was told by other more experienced skiers that the bunny hill here is not really a bunny hill. Infact, there really isn’t one here at all. The slopes here are challenging, but that’s the beauty of it. It makes you work harder as a beginner and if you’re serious about getting into skiing, what better place to take the plunge and try it out. They do offer group and personal ski classes, though I haven’t used them. From what I’ve seen though from the instructors there on the slopes, they look very informative. I’ll give my money to Pebble Creek any day.

Small Town ski area! Very steep! Does have a small hill but it is also a little bit steep in some sections for complete beginners. Definitely needs a magic carpet area. Great food especially the french fries! Great atmosphere and live music in the bar!

this was one of the best ski years ive ever had a pebble creek. snow is awesome and the season pass price is unbeatable, especially adding all the other mountains you can go to for no extra charges. I really wish they built a terrain park though that's the reason for 4 stars. 5 star if they actually had rails and jumps. if you can ski pebble you can ski anywhere.

John Gove — Google review

Great local area where the motto is "If you can ski Pebblecreek, you can ski anywhere!" Lower lift is a beginner area where you can learn the basics, the upper mountain has a lot to offer for intermediate to advanced skiers.

Exhibits on the history & cultivation of potatoes in a former train depot with a cafe & gift shop.

This museum is great. Very informative. They have videos that teach you things like how McDonalds makes their fries. Great collection of Mr Potato head toys and a wall of potato mashers. Definitely visit the cafe while you are there. We had the loaded baked potato, tots, hand cut fries with fry sauce and the best potato soup ever!! Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

You can either start at the cafe or the gift shop to enter the museum. There is a lot of parking and even multiple spots great for RVs.We entered at the gift shop. It had shirts, shot glasses, cups, along with multiple other trinkets, and a penny squish machine. We got some postcards and shot glasses and they were put in a mesh potato sack bag and got a package of locally grown dehydrated mashed potatoes which was entertaining. The cafe had baked potatoes with a variety of toppings, fries, tots, soup, and drinks. It smelled wonderful and we smelled potatoes for a while after. And the museum had a lot of information on... Potatoes. Along with antique and ancestral potato shaped and used items, a video, toys, kitchen appliances, talking potatoes, farm equipment, VR experience on a tractor and watching them till and moves potatoes, and a play area with Mr potato head. The reason for 4 stars... I though it was entertaining and fun but my husband found it less entertaining and said he probably wouldn't pick to go again. He was expecting real potatoes or fake planter boxes to show how more home grown ones are done too apparently.

We stopped at the potato museum in Blackfoot, Idaho. This is a simple, smaller, low tech museum. It’s small town and charming, not big budget.I’m surprised it’s not larger given the impact of potatoes on the state of Idaho. Here’s what I recommend1. Take photos of the giant potato in front of the building. There’s a smart phone holder out front so you can take photos without someone holding the phone.2. Visit the gift shop, pay for your tickets and enjoy the kitzch (spelling?).From potato soap to quirky potato peelers, there are a lot of fun items. The t-shirts could be much more fun than they are.3. Watch the talking potatoes in the basem*nt that put on a little show.4. Don’t miss the virtual reality experience. My favorite was the virtual reality ride on a 🥔 harvester. There are just 2 headsets but worth the short ride.5. Watch the the short film about McDonald’s french fries. And see the large potato chip.6. Admire the potato masher display that’s artistic.7. Go to the cafe and order a potato, fries or soup. Notice the potato print curtains.Beast potato ever! You get it within 5 mins and it’s piping hot with the noise divine fluffy soft inside. The potatoes are cooked at 400-500 degrees (there was some debate). Wrapped in foil. Cooked until soft and keep in a warmer at 140 degrees.Russset narcoda is the kind of potato. Don’t poke holes in them.We got a cupcake made with potatoes. Really good. I added sour cream, green onions, butter and tomatoes. So delicious!! And the waffle fries were incredible - fresh and hot. You can get ketchup and/or fry sauce. It’s very affordable too. Both the admission ($6 for adults) and the cafe.Take lots of photos.Overall, this could have a photo backdrop with a large potato inside. Displays of largest record breaking potatos. Am interactive display. Better more recent videos about the process and better games. It could be in a larger space. But it’s affordable and down home. Also there’s a great candy shop across the street with excellent ice cream (bubble gum with gummy bears, for example).

Janet Thaeler — Google review

We had an excellent visit except when leaving the girl closing the museum was rude. As we were leaving the museum (through the gift shop). She told us ‘I’m locking up now’. It was uncomfortable - I tried to explain that we weren’t trying to enter the museum and that we were leaving after viewing. There’s also a cafe here. I ordered some yummy fries and my partner ordered chili fries. If it weren’t for the rude service when we were exiting I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you have an hour so spare. Also if you’re from out of state you get a free instant potato packet. If you have AAA or military ID they offer a small discount on admission.

I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised by the Idaho Potato Museum. The building appears small; however, the museum is rather grand. Inside you'll find information starting from native America, ending in the modern day. They have paraphernalia of all kinds including farming, baking, alcohol, commercial, and toys. You can even see a potato signed by Al Gore! They have two virtual reality headsets that allow you to see a potato harvest and computers with games. There is a small theater; however, I wasn't able to watch the show because the kiddos were happily taking me all over the museum .There are public restrooms in the museum that are amazingly clean and smell that way too. Overall, a fascinating place and I'm happy to have gone. There is a small gift shop with some fun items and the staff were friendly and personable. In a word, awesome.Lastly, the potato bar is very yummy and reasonably priced. Try the fried potato dollars, absolutely fabulous. We highly recommend a visit!

The evening was peaceful in the parking lot. The train came through at 4am. Four out of five of us in our party slept through the horn noise. The store had a great and unique selection. The museum was actually informative, interesting, and interactive. The adults learned a few things as did the kids. The cafe was delicious with great prices. We first thought this would be a tourist trap but quickly realized it was a delightful experience.

I had a lovely experience here on a random Friday afternoon. It was very interesting learning about potatoes. I was surprised on all there is to know about them. How they grow, harvest, transport, types, history, etc. At the end, they have a restaurant where you can dine in.I had a very lovely baked potato for lunch and a huckleberry flavored soda crafted in Jackson Hole. I bought a really nice cotton T-shirt from their gift shop.

This place is SO COOL!!! We drove 12 hours and were not disappointed. There's actually a lot of hands-on things for all ages and the exhibits are informative. If you come here, you definitely should at least get fries from the cafe. They have a different garnish for their baked potatoes every day. We had sausage gravy during our visit to the museum. We came back the second day just to go to the cafe and got chili and cheese on a baked potato. I definitely recommend a visit here if you're anywhere near Idaho.

This museum was awesome. I grew up here in Idaho and had no idea the cool history behind the potato. Definitely worth a visit if you have the time. The gift shop and lunch counter are awesome as well.

Cute potato museum, lots of information and interactive features. The gift shop had some fun items that we HAD to have. The Potato Cafe 🥔 had some gluten free options and we had baked potatoes, French fries, tater tots. They offer a senior discount. Adults that do not qualify for the senior discount were $6/each at the time of this review (June 2023).

What a fun little museum. From the huge potato outside to the random facts you can review inside its a cute place to visit. They have a little souvenir shoo where you can find something fun as a keep sake. They also have a little Cafe to get yourself some delicious backed potatoes to end your visit. Take the kids in for a short stop to learn some history of the Idaho potato.

Awesome little stop. Excellent walking trails. Doesn’t take long to go the long route and read all the signs. I can dream of what lava flows would look like! So cool. Don’t litter people, I saw the bottles and trash in some cracks out there. Be better.

Justin Marhold — Google review

What a perfect diversion! These “south” trails are located at the rest stop. Clean bathroom, but some barriers to entry for wheelchair users. The path is paved, and provides some benches for those who need a break. A more ambulatory wheelchair user will be ok, but someone that requires help will definitely need it. The sign says the red loop is 45 minutes to transit but it’s not. Took me about 20. There are many nice things to see, and the interpretive signs are helpful. I also spied some great protected picnic tables. I visited during autumn after a rain in the morning, and it was such a nice little walk.

KatG — Google review

I recently had the pleasure of exploring the Hell's Half Acre trail and I must say, it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. What made this hike particularly special was the fact that it was suitable for hikers of all ages and fitness levels. I embarked on this adventure with two toddlers and an 11-year-old, and we encountered no difficulties throughout the entire trip. One of the standout features of the Hell's Half Acre trail is the paved path. This made the hike a breeze, as we didn't have to worry about rough terrain or tricky footing. The trail is well-maintained, with clear signs guiding us along the way. We also appreciated the presence of benches and picnic tables, providing us with opportunities to rest and enjoy a snack in the midst of our adventure. The view along the trail is simply breathtaking. The volcanic rock formations in Idaho are unlike anything I've ever seen before. The unique geological features provided a fascinating backdrop to our hike, and we couldn't help but marvel at the natural beauty surrounding us.Overall, I would highly recommend the Hell's Half Acre trail to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly hiking adventure. The paved path, clear signage, and stunning volcanic rock formations make for a truly memorable experience. Whether you're an experienced hiker or just starting out, this trail has something for everyone. Don't miss out on the opportunity to explore this hidden gem in Idaho.

August 22, 2021. A nice surprise. I've driven by here from time to time during my life but for once, I pulled over. I went to the top of the building before taking the little hike. It's all sidewalk so I didn't even need to change shoes. The walk takes you to an upper level and all along the way there are interpretive signs; very nice ones at that. You can observe this very rough topography interspersed with some desert-like flora. There are significant cracks and holes in the earth. I did take pictures and made a video as well.

Angela Romain — Google review

Hell’s Half Acre Trail is adjacent to the Rest Stop off the Southbound I-15. Pathway has informative markers about the areas volcanic past. Pathway leads to a gazebo where your can overlook the Pilot Buttes.

LB’s and Lulu — Google review

One of the nicest, cleanest rest stops I've visited. Interesting signage describes the geologic past of the region, with short trails. Dog park, nice bldg with restrooms and intensive signage as well. If you're traveling thru ID on I-15, it's worth a stop.

p birkedahl — Google review

It's really cool to see the rock formations formed by the lava flows and there is a nice little observation deck with bathrooms and vending machines. There's also an easy trail to see more of the formations.

Alex Merryman — Google review

A welcoming break in the day. A challenging trail with strategically places benches. Nice morning workout

Zoo

Zoos & Aquariums

A broad range of international animals on display, plus a petting zoo & bird aviary, spring to fall.

You can never go wrong with a guick trip to this zoo. My grandson loves it here and enjoys seeing all his "friends". We come here enough that he knows where all his favorites are. The animals are all well cared for and the enclosures are very natural looking. This year there are at least 3 new babies!

Carolyn Neblett — Google review

This is a great zoo! There are lots of animals to see and they are clearly well taken care of. I had a great time at zoo with my friends. It wasn’t too crazy expensive and it wasn’t crowded at all. We felt that we got our moneys worth for sure. It would be a great activity for families. I enjoy animals and so all the signs with the animal information was great. I thought some of the animals they had there were really cool.

Nikolas Steele — Google review

This little zoo is fabulous. I was pleasantly surprised at the assortment of animals that this Zoo has. The way it is set up is perfect. On a hot day you are in the shade which was very nice. The landscaping was beautiful. My little family and I totally enjoyed every aspect of the zoo. The grounds were well maintained. If you haven't been, you should go. You won't be disappointed

Charlene Sherry Kay Seres — Google review

This Zoo is extremely affordable and worth the money. You get to see lots of wildlife, even when some animals aren't in the outside enclosures. This was a good use of my afternoon/a few hours, and I'll likely come again

Ruth Evans — Google review

I really enjoyed our experience at the Idaho falls zoo. I took my family of four and we got there early morning on a weekday. It was very beautiful and well put together. They had a wide assortment of different animals and some that are unique to this specific zoo. Our favorite parts were the African safari and the monkey house. The monkeys were extremely fun to watch, they were very active and funny to watch swing around. My only gripe was the fact that it was a field trip day for local schools. The zoo had booths set up where the kids can learn about different things in the ecosystem. The location of these booths could have been better to minimize the impact on the non-school going patrons. Also I felt like a lot of animals were off exhibit during our visit. They did have a small visitor center with a gift shop. But when I say small I mean small.

Brayden Workman — Google review

It is a pretty small zoo. But the price is very cheap and everyone that works there is very friendly. We are from alabama so it was cool seeing the different types of animal they have there that we don’t have at the zoos around us. I would say it’s definitely worth a trip if you have a couple hours you want to burn.

Jaciene Mann — Google review

Such a well kept and friendly zoo! All of the animals seemed like they were getting enrichment and genuinely seemed happy and healthy! The staff were really nice too. We loved the layout as well and how easy it was to navigate and see everything. Also extremely clean and well kept!

Taylor Hall — Google review

This place was a lot bigger than I expected and it was really well kept. Normally zoo's stink but I didn't smell anything until I hit the zebras! Very impressed with their collection of animals, cleanliness and informative signs! First time my daughter got to see any animals and we both had a blast! From seeing our favorite animals (flamingos and donkeys), learning about new animals and feeding goats- it was the perfect way to spend family time! Thank you so much guys!

Heather Sharp — Google review

This zoo is the perfect size. Cost is reasonable. Cart rental(recommended for toddlers ) was $5. I loved that they give you a token to pick which animal you would like the conservation money to go to. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. It’s a great place for a family to spend the day. My kids loved the penguins, primates, and big cats enclosures.

Santinator — Google review

This is the best zoo I have been to based on how happy and healthy the animals are. They have great exhibits and all seemed to be well fed and cared for. A++ will be back yearly.

Hailey Woodworth — Google review

This is a fun zoo to visit. It's amazing what you'll experience when the animals are actually active and playing. Also, there is a peaco*ck that roams free among us, doing its "call of the wild" as it wanders. If you do visit this zoo, I'm posting my pictures if you ever want to go on a scavenger hunt and find the objects in my pictures.

Malachi Goodman — Google review

The zoo itself was nice and shady. Able to walk around, see animals, the Lion and Lioness were pretty cool. The tamarins are my favorite. I will say the zoo is smaller and enclosures are as well. however the kids zoo was cool. The public bathrooms were pretty gross unfortunately.

Sarah R — Google review

We loved the zoo! It was clean and the animals were healthy and energetic. The staff was helpful and friendly. It's the perfect size for a half day. Prices are very affordable.

Harvey Beacham — Google review

We enjoyed Boo at the Zoo Friday evening. It was chaotic, but still fun. I recommend better signage to navigate the crowd, maybe a policy on strollers because that was a nightmare with the lines.

Tara Marie — Google review

I have been to see several zoos across the country. This one was not a favorite. The penguin enclosure has too many animals for the very small enclosure. The pool was extremely mucky and the stench burned our noses. Very strong ammonia smell. They have quite a few animals for this small acreage of zoo, including several large cats. Lions, snow leopards, then smaller cats as well. Bored, Many are pacing in their very small enclosures. The flamingos are also in a small pen and again it smells strongly of ammonia.

Very neat fountain / waterfall in a roundabout. I found myself just driving around in a circle a couple times just to get a good lookof it. Luckily it's not a high traffic area.

Roberta Peek — Google review

This roundabout is absolutely amazing. Every city should have something in the center of their roundabouts. Plus it was wide so traffic could easily move around.

Cathy Hartwig — Google review

One of the most gorgeous fountains I have ever seen!! A must see! Breathtaking!!

Barbara Doud — Google review

Cool fountain/statue in a traffic circle. Good picture opportunity if in Idaho Falls.

Danny Stump — Google review

Beautiful.***,? Yet you can not go NEAR it! Drive around it. That's it*** Says you will be prosecuted if you walk around it to view it. You are on camera. Makes you wonder why you put a side walk around it. If you're not allowed to be on it. I get not climbing in it. But walking around it on the side walk?!?!? Who came up with that.

Jennifer Sanderson — Google review

Finally was able to take pics of the eagle waterfall!! This just adds beauty to an already beautiful little city we have here in Idaho Falls!! Only lived here about 6 months!!

Kacey Olsen — Google review

This thing is impressive! It's a must see! Just off i15 no stop, just drive around it and get back on the highway if you want. Don't bring your semi trailer, and don't stop in the middle of the road to take pictures. But come see it, it's cool!

Adam Hansen — Google review

It's a very beautiful site to visit, as well as get some photos of u and loved ones. It's a must stop and see if your ever in Idaho falls.

Rusty Burlington — Google review

Giant Eagle Waterfall Nest's art and waterfall were stunning. Yet, visitor-unfriendly in a roundabout with no parking. Visited on a quiet weekend afternoon, got close to the art. City should improve access for tourists to appreciate this beauty without rule-breaking.

Wow!Roundabouts are a P-I-T-A when towing…Gotta say, this was AWESOME!We spent a couple days in town site seeing and made it a point to drive be this fountain several times. This folks, it doing a roundabout right!

Wow!! What an amazing area. It is really something to see. How they have the Snake River spilling over into a variety of waterfalls. Just one of the neatest things I've seen on my travels. Great area to walk, eat, shop or just come to read a book. I even saw someone fishing. Just beautiful. I would say it's a must see.

Very nice park along Snake River and the water falls, that gave the town its current name. Prior to 1891, the town's name was Eagle Rock.Parking is possible anywhere along the road parallel to the river. The park gives pedestrians the chance to walk a few steps, to look at and to listen to the roar of the water falls. Along the walkway are different benches in interesting and funny shapes. My family and I really enjoyed the visit there.

A lovely place for a walk or run in Idaho Falls. The River a Walk provides just enough of a taste of the outdoors while still having quick access to food trucks, fine dining, bars, and coffee shops in the downtown area. You can stop at one of the many fun artistic benches scattered along the walk as well as the War Memorial or some of the sculptures. It’s also a love place to visit on Saturdays from May through October beginning at 9 am for the local farmers’ market.

Best place to go for a walk though it does get dangerous at night though so make sure you either have a whistle or your SOS turned on to make sure emergency people and cops are alerted. I ended up meeting a man that got attacked near the green belt. He had cuts and bruises all over his body. It's not dangerous but just watch out for big groups of people or even in 2s or 3s. Stay safe if walking at night in the winter which is right now there is black ice on the side walk and on the walking strip even though Rick salt does get put down it can only do so much. To help. It can help just enough but with how cold it is its kinda useless. But still makes sense if they didn't put it down it probably be worse than what it is as of right now. In the summer it's gorgeous and in the falls it is extremely beautiful with the leaves falling and everything

Laina Thomson — Google review

Children's museum

Established in 2003, this museum features exhibits on science & regional history, plus archives.

Went for the last day of the BodyWorlds: Animal Inside Out exhibit. It was way cool. After going through that exhibit, my boyfriend and I walked through the rest of the museum. I enjoyed it. I would definitely go back for future exhibits.

Stacy Filipek — Google review

Amazingly detailed exhibits! I attended the Genghis Khan exhibit, and I was very impressed. The infographics contained a lot of information, but they were easy to read as well. The highlight of my visit was the live music exhibit. It was amazing to see the musicians perform with the traditional Mongolian instruments!

Anne Marie Frandsen — Google review

The animal encounters are wonderful and engaging for kids and parents. The current exhibit is rainforest themed and we all enjoyed all the animals. There are a lot of other interesting things to see in addition to the rainforest creatures. We will definitely be back to explore more.

KYLER STOWE — Google review

What a true treat stopping at this museum was. I learned so much about the state of Idaho, from the native American Indian tribes to the farming history to the types of gems that can be found in the state, etc. The stuffed animals on display were fascinating, as were the storefront displays with information about certain items. I could tell that whoever contributed to putting the displays together cared a great deal about what he/she was doing. The native American Indian artifacts were incredible! I enjoyed seeing so much handcrafted materials as well as the artifacts of people who lived on the homesteads in the state in the past. Learning about some of the plants that grow in the area peaked my interest, and there was a great description of the sagebrush that I came across. Everything was intriguing at the Museum of Idaho. It was a trip well worth it, in my opinion and I would go back again. There's quite a bit to see.

Reannah Jones — Google review

Great museum to visit. We must have spent 3 hours here looking around and reading the exhibit signs. The special exhibition was Genghis Khan. There was also history about Idaho, the Wild West and prehistoric animals from around the area. Great museum to visit!

Kristina Hensley — Google review

Lack of wheelchair access to certain areas of the museum, otherwise very decent experience. My 11 year old son had a really good time.

Preston — Google review

Well what is to say about this museum, it does change so thus review can be a hard one! Currently on 10-18-2021 the exhibit is "Animals Inside out" and I must say it was super cool! I've never had a bad experience or tour of what's been in the museum ever so,I suggest the museum to anyone visiting, passing through, looking to kill time, or even just the joy of museums! They have a great section (large) about Idaho falls, filled with so much information, and the staff is always friendly.

Destinee Speas — Google review

We went to see the Ghengis Khan exhibit, it was excellent! So many peices to see! I was awestruck by the beautiful pieces, the music, it was a trip to the times we know so little about. It was very educational as to the history of the family and what he had accomplished. Definitely recommend!

Gena — Google review

I didn't realize how big this museum was. I was very interested in all they had on displayed. It took me a few hourscto go through. Loved the Dinosaur experience.

Robyn Harrington — Google review

We have been here a few times. This time we were there with a school trip to see the "under the canopy" traveling exhibit. My daughter age 10 & 3 had a lot of fun seeing the different reptiles and the sloth! There is even a small live animal show that happens three times a day, we attended the 11am one and my youngest was super excited to get to pet a snake.

Chalyse Padigimus — Google review

So much to see and learn here! We went while the dinosaur exhibits were going on as well. The curators were easy to approach and helped us navigate because this place is misleadingly huge! We enjoyed the interactive stuff they had and found there was a lot of variety in the exhibits. We walked around for an hour and still didn't have time to see everything!

Taylor Hall — Google review

A really nice museum with different sections.Depends on your pace, checking everything should take about 1-2 hours. There are some nice spots for kids to play and learn.Entrance for non-Idaho residents is $14, a bit expensive in comparison with some other similar museum I visited in US, but it's not terrible.Parking is behind the building and it is quite small, partially shared with church next to the museum, but it's free.

The museum was very, very wellLaid out. I loved it very nice staff onHand to answer any questions. It is a MUST SEE..Younger children will love the Dinosaur exhibit...(ok and us adults as well)😊A true professional museum..There is plenty to study , look at.

Phillip Burns — Google review

Very nice museum with interesting history of the State. They had a special exhibit on dinosaurs of the ocean which was very cool. So many enormous sea creatures from that time that don't get much fanfare but were so impressive!

Don Stevenson — Google review

The Best part of the whole museum was the SLOTH 🦥.. it had a salad for lunch, an crawled across his rope to his den.. it was cute!! They had some real cool spider exhibits, snakes, lizards.. just fun!! ☺️

Wildlife park

Zoos & Aquariums

Bear World is a wildlife park in Rexburg, Idaho, with opportunities to see bears in their natural habitat. The park features a drive-thru facility as well as petting zoo and kid's rides.

It's a neat place, most of the bears here are former actor/performance animals, or descendants of said bears, so they cannot be in the wild. Place offers a few different ways to see them as well. (Drive thru the park in your own vehicle, or use their truck to toss them food, as well as a small petting zoo for the kids.)

Jeremy Statz — Google review

Wow! Was this place cool or what. We went during the middle of the week and experienced great joy. It was not crowded and they allow you to go through unlimited times. We went through roughly eight times watching all of the bears and different animals. To be precise there are buffalo, whitetail deer, albino elk, elk, swan, grizzly bears, black bears, and moose. And that's just for the section of where you're driving. During our visit there were a lot of bears playing around. They also have a little section that you can go to and actually pet some animals. The animals that you're able to pet are goats, dear, different kinds of birds, and pigs. You can also feed bears during the season. They have an amazing little enclosure for Cubs. Overall the experience was incredible. I'm definitely going here again.

Brayden Workman — Google review

I personally like Bear World better than Yellowstone. I love to ride around and see the animals. The bears are so cute, but the cubs are the cutest!!! You can pay to.feed them. You pay right as you arrive and then you can choose to drive your own car or you can pay to ride in their truck and you're also able to.feed the bears. We did that the first time. The gift shop and kid park area are fun too. And then you can also choose to go to the back part and see more animals. You can also feed the ducks and fish. It is guaranteed fun time for everyone!

Tatiana Grant — Google review

Outstanding well kept secret we've told everybody about! 👏 For the most part, the staff is friendly! All around are clean facilities, structures, and habitats for the various animals! All the animals appeared to be well fed and cared for! Feeding the "baby bears" was definitely the highlight of the trip for us! BUT YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE! Very seldom can you show up and expect to feed the bears! The food was decent, and as you would expect, overpriced beyond belief! The "merchandise shop," on the other hand, was reasonably priced and quite affordable!

RedBullKC — Google review

Wow! We went during Cubpalooza last week. The kids loved it and want to go back again. They have amusem*nt rides that are included with admission. The bears were very active and the cubs were 100% adorable.

Scott Woodbury — Google review

The cost of the adventure was $25. It was worth every penny. It is especially wonderful for children I cannot imagine they must think when they see all these wild animals. I bet I saw 50 bears. The gift shop was well staffed and had a great assortment. The workers were delightful. I love the little petting zoo area and the rides. I also want to mention these animals are cared for very well!

Jill Sauls — Google review

Wow. The drive through the park with elk, deer, bison, and bears is fun for the whole family. Lots of photo opportunities with animals everywhere. The main area gift shop was affordable with a nice selection. The dinosaur area had a couple of "rideable" dinosaurs and was a unique experience for kids. Free amusem*nt park rides for the kids were also available with a decent selection and short lines. The petting zoo had deer, goats, birds, and a pig.My family paid for the bear bottle feeding and it was well worth the time and the money. Six bears under a year old who like nooking with their feeders and have large personalities for the tiny size of their bodies were amazing to feed and to pet. As with any babies, they had their opinions and different personalities from messy eaters, to inhalers. Such an incredible experience. Highly recommended.

Alison Wright — Google review

We had a great time driving through to see the bears and other animals. We were honestly surprised how many there were and how close to the car they got. Our hard to please teenagers really enjoyed it as well.

Jaimie Draper — Google review

I've gone a few times in different seasons, but it's still the same. The bathrooms are a mess and super dirty. The staff is pretty rude, and their merchandise barely ever is updated. but it was cool to look around at the cubs and drive through the wildlife. The dinosaur park in it has quite a few dinosaurs with some movement and sounds. We liked the chubby bears 🐻

Valerie Ellis — Google review

At first glance, the price seems really steep being $24 an adult but once you realize just how many animals are actually offered either to see (bison, elk, bears, moose etc.) or to pet at the petting zoo (deer, goats, pigs etc.) I soon understood why! This place was so cool driving in with all of the big bears, elk and bison! Not to mention the adorable petting zoo and amusem*nt park which is also built into the admission price! Also, their fudge in the giftshop? Delicious!!Absolutely worth a visit at least once! My family had a wonderful trip and we will be back! Thanks guys! Very impressed.

Heather Sharp — Google review

Lots of bears and other animals common to Yellowstone National Park. Plenty for kids to do too with a petting zoo, and amusem*nt rides all included with admission. You drive through the elk, bison, and bears. You can renter as much as you like but no stopping and no rolling down your windows. A great place to spend 2-3 hours. Food is available to purchase or bring your own—plenty of picnic tables. Good value!

Ty Lagerberg — Google review

Driving portion to see roaming animals takes about 30 minutes. So a variety of brown bears, black bears, deer, and bison. Entrance to the park also includes entrance to the dinosaur world, small theme park rides, and petting zoo. We spent about 1.5 hrs total in the park, but could have spent double that if your kids are big on doing the rides. Overall a good experience with the family.

Tristan Rodeback — Google review

The new dinosaur area is really fun. My kids liked the Dino rides. 2 of the 5 rides were broken when we visited, so it was a little disappointing. But the rides are nice for a wide range of ages. I wanted to ask why the petting zoo is so sparce on animals but didn't see an employee near there to ask. The info center on the different animals is great. The deer look so thin and mangey. The way the road winds through the park gives visitors plenty of angles to see the animals.

Heidi Leigh — Google review

We attended as a homeschool field trip. The drive through to see the bears was exciting for my girls (10&3). The petting area was fun with little piglets and momma, deer and goats. The girls had fun feeding them and also the fish and ducks in the river. We got there at feeding time and it was so cute to watch the baby bear cubs drinking their bottles. You can pay extra to feed the bear cubs, but we didn't do this. The new dinosaur exhibit was neat with life-sized animatronic dinos to see and even a few of the little coin ride kind. The small carnival rides we did last were fun and the girls left happy for the day out.

Chalyse Padigimus — Google review

Amazing place. Great opportunity to see some majestic wildlife up close! You can take as many laps in your car as you want, that will take you right by bison, dear and a TON of bears. There is also a petting zoo with deer, goats, ducks etc. A few rides for the kids and a dinosaur place under construction for 2024.IF YOU'RE GOING ALL THE WAY OUT HERE -- spoil yourself and cough up the extra $75 to feed the baby bears. You'll remember that for the rest of your life!!!This place actually made my mum-in-law cry out of sheer joy over all the beautiful animals and getting to bottle feed the cubs.

Nate C W — Google review

We went here on a whim because we were headed in this direction and had an extra hour to do something. Was a great way to see the wildlife up close! Bears, white elk, deer, and bison. The bear cubs were playful and fun to watch. The new dinosaur exhibit was much better than I expected for such a remote place. Fun rides here for little kids (6 and under).

M. B. — Google review

Bear World is always a fun place to visit. I went with my husband and four children. We all enjoyed the animals, petting zoo, rides, and especially Jurassic Creek. My 5-year old froze for a minute when he saw the T-Rex and wasn't so sure about it, it looked so real to him. It was fun to see the dinosaurs and learn more about them.

Adrianne Elliott — Google review

It was a great visit. Animals were all around and petting zoo was a hit with the kids. Animals loved the attention from the kids. Rides was in great condition and the new Dinosaur exhibit was brilliant. Loved every minute of it.

Jp Meek — Google review

Super cool experience!!! The drive through, bottle feeding, little roller coaster rides they have, and the dinosaur land are all super cool! Definitely would recommend visiting here if you're nearby!

I've been going here since I was little, I have always loved Heise! They've made some amazing modifications to the place and it looks and feels so much cleaner. I've had no issues with any employees, they've all been really nice. They also give you fair warning about all of their rules including storms and their policies about lightning and no refunds (you are allowed to come back after the storm has passed.) Once you pay you are allowed to come and go as you please, which I think is an amazing policy that no other local swimming pool has (that I'm aware of.) I am also a fan of the drive out to Heise, it is in a gorgeous location and there are some stunning sights.

Andie B. — Google review

Not family friendly. Definitely NOT kid friendly. We use to love taking our kids but we went recently and there was nothing but trashy people. Teens who had been clearly drinking and adults acting childish with vulgar language. Inexplicably horrific behavior in the dressing rooms that frightened us so badly we just left. If you consider yourself decent or affluent you're better off staying as far away from this place as possible.

L 3 — Google review

The food here is out of this world.🤤 You can tell the dough is made in house! It has a delicious fire, brick oven taste. Such a good vibe, and so incredibly beautiful.🤩 The staff is extremely kind and friendly! 🤍We also went swimming here and it’s so clean and so much fun! Overall loved everything🥰

Brittanny Johnson — Google review

It's pretty expensive to take your family there and it's a small pool and get over crowded pretty fast. It is nice that it's mineral water If you want to get your money worth go to lava hot springs you don't pay as much and you have 4 large pools to pick from with different temperatures.

Hawkins Wilkes — Google review

Had a nice one month stay here. Started on Labor Day Monday, so things were winding down and was a nice quiet stay. Road is a bit busy on weekends due to surrounding outdoor activities. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay with them again if in the area.

S Parker — Google review

Very rood and disrespectful workers! Took pool toy away from 1yr and didn't even use it! They yell at you for anything they can think of. No refunds when they close pool for lighting 15 miles away. Overall a bad experience!

Matt Beltz — Google review

Beautiful amenities, soothing mineral hot springs...everyone there was incredibly friendly and the sweet cabin on the hillside I stayed in was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Can't wait to go back!!

Jill Parker — Google review

Today was my first visit since the upgrade of the dressing rooms by the hot pools. Upgrade not complete but he dressing rooms have radiant heated floors, a fresh clean look, and free lockers. The water was real warm and nice for Dec 14th. It was nice before but better now. I highly recommend.

Michael Tew — Google review

Been going there for years, they have done lots of work to make it so nice. Love it.

Nice hot springs, friendly staff. We went in a week day that was very slow so plenty of room for us to use the pools.

Family water park offering kiddie slides, a lazy river, splash pools & concessions.

Clean place. I am not big on "public pools" but the atmosphere is always top notch! We love it here and we make the commute often from Ammon.P.S. The clear floaties are free and you are pretty much guaranteed to get one while there.

Monica Gonzalez — Google review

So much fun even for toddlers! We had a blast with my one year old. Good pricing and even when there is a lot of people there, it doesn’t feel super crowded

McKenzie Williams — Google review

It’s ok. It’s a pretty small water park. It is definitely built for families and not college students. The water was pretty gross though. There was definitely a film on parts of it that weren’t getting as much traffic. I walked out feeling pretty gross. The slides are good but old. I feel it could use a major update.

Nikolas Steele — Google review

We paid for 3 people and got to swim all of about 2 hours. I understand that you can't help the weather...but what really REALLY makes me so upset is that they don't do anything. It wasn't their fault..but it wasn't ours either. I don't want a refund...maybe just another pass to come another day. Even just a pass or two would have been very much appreciated! Gas is expensive and even just from Idaho Falls gets to be a lot. You guys need to change your policies. We have been good customers since you opened. I don't know if we will be back! We will just stick with Heise.

Brandi Onken — Google review

I love this place! They have a lazy river, water slides, and a lap pool! It can be pretty busy, but there are a lot of lifeguards to keep you safe! It's a really great place for families, date nights, or birthday parties! I highly recommend this place!

Natalie B. — Google review

We had to pay $5.50 to go sit on the grass. The sign posted the cost for non-swimmers at $5.00. I asked about the discrepancy in cost and let them know the sign says $5. The guy at the window said "it's $5.50, is that ok?" . I said not really because of the sign. He said the sign is wrong and it's $5.50. Then he said "well...do you want to go or not?". Customer service was awful and not customer friendly. We won't return.

Susan Robertson — Google review

Great water park in Rexburg! The kids loved it. It has water slides, a lazy river that is not so lazy, a rock climbing wall, smaller water slides for the Littles, and all at a great price!

Mary Rios — Google review

Rexburg Rapids is always a great getaway. It's great for kids and is something just for fun. The lazy river is my favorite. The slides are also super fun!!

kevin — Google review

Rexburg Rapids is what it is, the only public pool for the community. The summers are very short in Rexburg, and while they say they heat the water, it's not warm enough to go here until at least July. It's a small park, but has a kiddie area, lazy river, and a couple of slides. Unfortunately, the height limit for the slides is like 48"and they won't allow kids to go down them with floaties on.The price isn't really high, but it seems like local residents should get more of a discount because it's supported by our taxes. It's also unfortunate that it isn't indoors or at least has a hot tub because as soon as there's cloud cover, it's too cold to swim

Chris Logan — Google review

Fun if you’re one of the lucky 15 people to get a tube for the lazy river.I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but this one I felt was worth writing. We have a couple of disabled kids we thought would love to float on the lazy river. We checked the reviews, and headed out. We arrived 5 before they opened and were quite a ways back in the line. Upon entering we found out that there are only maybe 15-20 tubes total. You can’t rent them or reserve them. AND PEOPLE NEVER GET OFF THEM. My kids are too big for the splash pad and can’t swim for the water slide. Complete waste of money for our family. We spent the whole four hours waiting for someone to give up a tube. They never did.

C Smith — Google review

This is a great place for little kids and older. They have a small playground for little ones and larger slides for children over 48". There is shade available but it packs in quick so if you don't get there right when it opens bring your own shade tent for a grassy spot. You can bring in your own coolers and food. We enjoyed the lazy river but it's not really "lazy". It's very hectic and packed. The tubes for the lazy river are fcfs so grab one if you can. Watch your little ones closely in there because the teens get wild and don't look out for kiddos. All in all it's a fun family friendly experience.

Nichole — Google review

The place is fun, but can get crowded at times. Swim lessons here seem to be hit or miss. We've had some good teachers, and some not so good teachers for our kids. They have a splash pad in the pool for smaller kids which is nice, and adults can relax in some more shallow waters. And for older kids they have a small rock wall in the deep end and two large water slides. And adults might find more fun in the lazy river, but it's honestly popular with people of all ages. All in all, not a bad place for a family outing. Definitely worth visiting a few times each summer.

Awesome experience riding the sand dunes! Don’t listen to anyone else who gave negative reviews, you can tellThey damaged the rental machines and don’t want to pay for the damage because these machines are expensive! You do have to be very careful and watch over every sand dune, but there is nothing as fun as climbing a big sand dunes and turning down to get extra speed around the big “dune bowls” like the largest roller coaster you have ever been on!It was a blast and we will be coming back to Pms Dune Rentals every year because of how nice accommodating and nice/helpful Dawson and Ren are!Only rent here!

Just spent the afternoon at the sand dunes with my son! PMS Dune Rentals was great! Easy access. Good working machines. Kind and respectful even to inexperienced riders! They were also great with my eight year old son! Highly recommend!

We had a blast with our side by sides! The owner was very friendly and cares very much about taking care of his investments. If I am back up in Idaho falls again, we would definitely come play again for another few hours!

Had an awesome time with the wife and brother in law. We rented a 2 seater but it was broke so we got upgraded, for no additional cost, to an almost new 4 seater. Easy to work with and very friendly. I would recommend and use again.

JT Little — Google review

On 8/4/22 I reserved online 2 turbo 4-seater machines for the following morning, having to pay for it up front. There is no info on the website about cancellation or refunds before you pay. When we got there we were given one turbo and a lesser machine. After 10 minutes we came back and I asked the attendant if we could change our reservation to one machine for 4 hours. He said that was ok so we left one and took the turbo. When we came back after 4 hours the kid told me he had not heard from his boss but I left my contact info to be contacted later that day about the refund and/or to use the rest of what I already paid for. I then sent an email to let him know the situation and find out about the refund status. I left another email the next day along with a voicemail since nobody answers the phone. I have still heard nothing almost a week later. If the attendant had told me that I could not adjust my reservation or that they dont do refunds I would have taken both machines for the 8 hours I paid for. In short, I paid $1800 for a 4 hour rental and the business will not respond to my repeated attempts at contact. I wish I could give a good review because otherwise the dunes were fun and the machines were fine but the lack of customer service and bad business practice left a very bad taste that I want other potential customers to be aware of before giving them money. Before leaving this review I looked at other reviews and found that many others have had similar problems with being overcharged or under-serviced but Google only shows the 5 star reviews show unless you look deeper.

Jason Knapp — Google review

Ren was great to deal with, super friendly. Blasting around the dunes was really fun! Highly recommend.

Doug Brackett — Google review

Fantastic experience!Customer service was great. I experienced an issue while out in the dunes, and I was brought another machine to continue the fun.Our group of 6 rented 3 machines, and we all had a blast.

Tyler Flood — Google review

We rented a four seater for two hours with two adults and two children (ages 10 and 13). We had a blast!! It took a few hills to get used to the feel if you’ve never driven one before. It was amazing how well the machines handled the dunes! We would highly recommend this place!

Jay Bo — Google review

My boyfriend and I came out from Wisconsin and decided last minute to see if we could ride the dunes. PMS Dune Rentals was great to work with, the RZR was well-maintained, and we had an absolute blast! If you're in the area looking to ride the dunes, definitely check out PMS Dune Rentals!

Our whole family had a blast, my 13-year-old son, my wife and I, and my father-in-law who is in his late '70s. Beautiful scenery, exhilarating driving opportunities, with easy, moderate, and scary difficult trail options. The second half of our 4-hour rental, my teenage son and I did this carry options while my wife and father-in-law waited back at the base, lol! It's hard to appreciate how massive these dunes are until you're right there in them. Stunning views with a beautiful lake Oasis right in the middle. Who knew Idaho had a desert biome?!

Troy Helming (SolarNinjaTroy) — Google review

Tons of fun ! All 4 of us enjoyed it: dad, mom, 2 boys. Ren was very accommodating. We ended up arriving to town early, he got us set up and off to dune jumping in no time. Responsive to cell and email. Gave us some quick background on the dune history too. No trouble with our 4 seater at all. Helmets and googles provided. Highly recommend !

Oh man, what a fun time! We worked with Shanelle to do a pool rental for me and a ton of friends, and it was just an absolute blast. The big main pool is warm enough that it feels great (especially for playing volleyball or other games) but it's not TOO warm to the point that you feel like you need to get out after 15 minutes, so it was perfect. And then going over to the hotter pool to relax for a bit felt amazing. Honestly, just a pleasant time from beginning to end! Thanks again, y'all!

Ryan Brinton — Google review

It was nice to escape the cold and soak in the hot pool. I do tend to enjoy hot pools that are outdoor more, like at Lava Hot Springs, when you can see the snow and surroundings. The biggest problem was that the lights kept going out. It was troubling having people stumble around a pool in the dark. It felt worrisome and dangerous. I was also concerned that someone would come into my stall when I was struggling to get changed back into my clothes in the dark. The facility could definitely benefit from some updating and renovation. My kids did have lots of fun in the pool, even though it felt a bit crowded. Be warned, everything you bring will end up smelling strongly of grease from the grill. Plan to wash whatever you wear/bring soon after.

Jordon Hofman — Google review

We love coming here. Wish they would reinvest into the facilities. Family owned and they are sweet people. It's always busy but never packed. Pools are wonderful but building, toilets, changing rooms are so shabby. A must-do if you are passing through.

The hours of operation kinda suck but its a fun atmosphere. Its kinda old but its the character that makes this place what it is. Most people in idaho falls have never even heard of this place. I think they should have better .... Or maybe just any advertising so more can enjoy what this place has to offer..

This place is super cute, tucked away in a beautiful ravine. It tends to get busy Friday/weekends so plan accordingly. The have burgers/etc. there but maybe plan on packing food with you.

In a beautiful setting, nice country drive. It was kind of older, not spa like but great for families!!! Loved the little corner cold dunk pool. They sell candy at reasonable prices and lunch was good price, also. The pool was in a covered building. The hot tub and cold dunk pool were outside. It looked like there was tent camping??

Belinda Brownharper — Google review

Great place to go swimming. The owner and his family are super nice. They have a basketball hoop and a volleyball net in the main pool, and a fairly big hot pool. If you want to hang out, meet new people, or just have fun swimming, this is the place. If you do come here, you gotta challenge at least one other person to sit in the cold pool the longest, you just have to

WubbaDubba5361 — Google review

This place is gehto but it is also really old. Green Canyon Hot Springs is a family business and a really friendly one, too. If you are to go to Green Canyon, it is usually really busy depending on the day you go. It is really fun and the burgers are freshly made. The food does sometimes take a while to make, but it's usually because of how busy it gets. We try really hard to get projects and improvements done in the summer, and we are improving every year. I hope this helped with your questions and concerns.

kyler neibaur — Google review

This place is nostalgic for me. I grew up coming here once a year in the summer. The thing that brings me back is the nostalgia and the fact the warm water is comfortable for littles to swim in.I wish I could say the place looks better than I remember it, but it feels barely any different. They seem to have replaced the picnic tables in the “lobby”and replaced the seating that looks into the pool. But the dressing rooms are just as gross as I have always remembered them to be, they’ve changed the curtains and placed new mats to stand on in the dressing room (I think), but when you can look to your left or your right and see too much of the person changing next to you it provides an awkward experience. The clothing bags if I had the guess are the same ones my own grandparents used 50+ years ago, and now you sometimes have to remember your bag number instead of getting the little bracelet to turn in to retrieve it; that’s a real frustration.Prices have gone up over the years and I can fully understand the need for the price increase, but one would have hoped to see more updates along the way.The diving board which was a staple to the pool is now gone due to liability issues I’m sure, which really leaves a big gap in the activity department. Only so many people can or want to play volleyball.I’m sure I will return it would just be nice to see some extra TLC put into the place.

I've been coming to Green Canyon Hot Springs with my family since I was a kid. It's improved quite a bite in the last couple decades, and remains a fun family tradition- offering nearby campgrounds, hiking trails, indoor event amenities and more. The price of admission is low and they honor group discounts! The main indoor pool's original diving board and rafter swing are gone, but as an adult and parent, I can now appreciate the safety behind those decisions 😬 The outdoor hot pool is large enough to accommodate many patrons without feeling too familiar with others and now has patio-type roofing that allows for sunbathing and protects from inclement weather. The adjacent cold springs therapy pool is much smaller- 1 to 2 person seating- and a decorative lava rock fountain feature pumps fresh natural hot spring water right into the hot pool. The whole area invites a very zen, spa-like atmosphere. The separate men and women changing areas hasn't really changed and leaves much room for improvement, especially when they're full, but I'll still be bringing my family here for fun reunions and get togethers 👍

Great place to relax. My mom had hurt her back and what a better place to go and relax the muscles than with a soothing soak. Last night my mother was finally getting some relief; she was in the deep end by herself floating peacefully on her back until some little girl came full speed with a giant sea scooter slamming into her side, right in the ribs. This put my mother in a lot of pain. She was starting to feel better before this. The lifeguard saw this happen and told us sorry that’s the owners daughter you’ll have to take it up with them. I find it totally unacceptable to have owners kids riding around with a motorized scooter in a busy pool. It hurt a lot :(

A fantastic work environment, amazing management, great location. Yeah, the building is old but we maintain it well and make renovations yearly. Last summer alone we tore out the lobby walls and put bright new ones up, resurfaced the pool floor, repainted the hot tub area and the hot tub itself, got new curtains, made new tables, got new changing room mats, and more. All in one summer. As for us staff, we're great of course. We put a lot of effort into our swim lesson plans, and are always open to input from the parents. For people who weren't able to get in (because it's always booked a year in advance) most of the teachers will do lessons privately. I would recommend myself 😇, I'm Logan. In terms of our lifeguarding, we are all red cross certified in Lifeguarding, Emergency Oxygen, and WSI.

Super cool place. Kind of old but other than that it was super cool to go there and swim with the whole family. The water is super warm for the regular pool. The hot tub is definitely way hot and nice. Then they have a small pool for like 3 people that is ice cold water and it is a fun little challenge to see who can stay in the longest there. The water that flows into the pools is from a natural hot springs so it is really nice!

Laid-back, all-inclusive fishing resort set on a river offering fly-fishing trips & a fly shop.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at one of Teton Valley Lodges private events. The staff was extremely friendly and the chef treated us to a phenomenal 3 course dinner. If you get the chance to participate in one of these events I would highly recommend it!

I had the fishing trip of my life last week. My guide, Harrison, was very helpful and new exactly where to find the fish. I caught seven brown trout between 17-20 inches, plus a lot of smaller fish. I can hardly express my excitement.

Great stay with modern room design, large tv and fantastic and friendly host Brenda! Be it skiing at Grand Targhee, hiking around the Tetons or fly-fishing Teton Creek, this is a great place to stay!

Patrick Flood — Google review

Our family had the best time here. The fishing and guides were top notch, the hospitality was second to none, and the property was beautiful. We are definitely coming back!

The guys fly by my house every night and I would not recommend anyone do busines with these people. They don’t care if you got kids playing in the yard. They drive so fast by our place every night.

We booked a full day guided trip for our honeymoon, and it was amazing! Our guide, David, was such a hard worker and one of the most personable guides I've ever worked with. He had us on fish all day when the weather was not ideal, and made sure my wife and I had a great time. We hope to be back!

Jeremy McGee — Google review

Great experience, fishing and views along the Teton River and Snake River. Thanks Jamie for helping me land some nice trout.

Josh Myers — Google review

Second year coming to TVL and had an amazing time once again. Every aspect of the experience is amazing. Great fishing, great food, great guides, and great accommodation.

Ryan McGee — Google review

Did a day trip on the South Fork of the Snake River. Our guide, Jacob, rowed his face off through high wind and hard, hard rain to get us into fish. And, boy oh boy, did he ever get us into fish! He rowed us into sneaky spots other guides blasted right by or just barely covered at all. And then he would row us back upstream to hit he same holes over and over until the fish stopped hitting. Some on streamers. Some on dry dropper. We did this all day boating about 40 fish. I lost count, honestly. More than a few worthy of a photo.I can't say you'll catch that many. But it won't be for lack of effort from your guide. If all the guides at Teton Valley Lodge work this hard, you are in damn good hands.

Ely Wilkinson — Google review

Outstanding in every respect. Great accommodations, gourmet dining, the best guides we've ever fished with and a staff that anticipates your needs. Seems spendy but really a good value for the total high level experience. We're average fly fishers and we landed more fish than with any guide service on the Henry's Fork or Madison. Most of the guests we visited with have been coming back here for many years. Our first stay here and we understand why. That is the Tetons in the background, the views are breathtaking.

Tom Duncan — Google review

The owners of the lodge and guide company are amazing people. Everyone from the owners to the staff are positive, hard working, and just overall make sure that you have a wonderful experience. I did not stay at the lodge but we used the guided fishing outfit for a group of 20. The food we had at the lodge was very good. What a great a great trip! Highly recommend A+++Thank you, Marcus

Angela Coleman — Google review

Wonderful staff. Amazing food, great views, knowledgeable and friendly guides. You don't need to know how to fly fish. You will catch many beautiful trout of varying types as well as other fun native species. My wife had never fly fished in her life and really enjoyed herself over three nights and two days at the lodge. The cabins are large and comfortable. Water pressure was great haha. There are cute puppies running around. The staff takes care to get to know you. Our first guide helped me improve my dry fly presentation and I was amazed as trout rose to sip my fly on top water. I won't spoil the other wonderful surprises in store. Our second guide taught us casting techniques for a heavier rig on a larger river to target the fatties. My wife out fished me again catching native cutthroats, cutbows, rainbows and browns. We saw moose and baldies and enjoyed over-stuffed lunch boxes on the river at scenic locations. The guides went above and beyond to make the experience the best ever. I would 100% recommend this place to new and experienced anglers.

Drive-in movie theater

Concerts & Shows

Theaters

Enduring, 1950s drive-in movie theater with a concession stand selling burgers, fries & shakes.

This is the funnest drive in I have ever been to! If you are anywhere near the Tetons, you need to spend a night watching a movie at the Spud. It’s so cute and the staff are all so friendly. You can grab a burger, fries, and a shake (or tater tots, etc.) and they are GOOD old-fashioned like they should be. They play movies that are still in theatre, but some drive-ins only play older movies. It is a great value! The theme of the drive in theatre was old fashioned with license plates, old cars, and potatoes for Idaho! Seriously so cute. You can tell they’ve gone above and beyond any other drive in. This was seriously the funnest thing to do in Driggs, Idaho. We will definitely be back 🙌🏻

Madison Munnerlyn — Google review

We went by in the winter, so no movie for a us but kudos to the owners. What a novel idea! They painted an old truck, put a couple of spuds in it and a giant potato on the bed and parked it out front. It’s an awesome sight!!The sign for the drive-in is an Idaho license plate with Bigfoot on it.Love it!!

LISA HANEY — Google review

It's a cool and fun place to make memories. Food and snacks are good and definitely a mystery see for Idaho. Movie selection is good too. Will recommend and will definitely go again

Family friendly. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Make sure to try out the shakes. You can rent a portable radio or bring your own.

The Spud Drive In is the perfect classic drive in theatre. It's such a fun environment! The staff is full of the kindest people. They're personable and make the experience even better! If you're looking to eat a great meal during your movie, The Spud's burgers and shakes are delicious! Absolutely stop in for a movie when you're in or near Driggs, you'll have the best time!

Morgann Flake — Google review

It's winter now, but it looks like it is a fun drive inn theater to see a movie. There aren't that many open any more in the USA! I hope this one in Victor ID can survive.

John Blixt — Google review

It was a nice little drive-in with very pleasant staff and tasty concession food. I took a star off because the movie screen was in dire need of repair and the fact that the picture quality wasn't very good due to the darkness of the movie/screen. They really need to add some more light above/around the screen because it was hard to see the images on the screen at times. We watched Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw. Other than that, it was a lovely drive-in.

Tanya Egeland — Google review

Lovely cabins at the Spud Drive In that are perfect for our visit to The Grand Tetons. A really unique experience in Idaho. Would have loved to catch a movie there as it seemed like a great drive in. There is a giant potato out front you can't miss it!

Hannah C — Google review

We booked an airbnb RV parked at Spuds Drive-in at Driggs for our trip to Grand Teton. I would totally suggest to go for this option and the theater plays shows every night. It was an unexpected recreation to lodge in the RV and still be able to watch the movie after a tired day of trekking and fun. The RV pictures as below were very comfortable for a really affordable price. Couldn't take pictures of the drive-in during the night.

Jens basic moment class is perfect if you’re looking for an accessible way to learn the fundamentals of indoor rock climbing. Jen teaches the skills of indoor bouldering technique in a welcoming, supportive and fun manner. We worked primarily on foot skills and I learned a lot in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend this class and gym to anyone interested in learning to climb! The gym is awesome and is great for all ages and skill levels. There’s a lot of wall space, fun routes and a great training area. Awesome people and atmosphere. Make sure you check it out!

Shauna McMahon — Google review

As an immigrant it’s been hard to find a welcoming diverse place in the Tetons. This gym makes me feel like I can be part of the community and that’s priceless. I’m really thankful for Jen and Jacob’s work.

Love this gym! The staff was incredibly welcoming and was quick to offer some belay lessons to our group and patiently helped us as we practiced. This was the least intimidating-feeling climbing gym I've been to and the atmosphere was very friendly. Plenty of options for all types of climbing and I'm looking forward to going back!

This gym has a great variety of routes and holds. This is pretty small but not pricey for a day pass. I easily spent a few hours here bouldering, too roping, and if I hadn’t forgotten my rope I would’ve lead climbed too.

I am an intermediate climber and was in Jackson for the weekend and heard about this place. I went Friday night at 830 only to find out they close at 9. I ended up just checking it out that night and then went back the next day. When I got there, I was greeted enthusiastically and felt immediately welcome. I then went on to begin climbing with my partner and instantly fell in love. The gym is not set with the typical indoor decimal system but instead is set to feel more realistic as if it were set by outdoor standards. I only used their top rope routes, which come equipped with Gri Gri belay systems. I was unfamiliar with them as I had only used ACT and was confused at first but with some helpful instruction, I picked it up within 10 minutes. I will say that the space is smaller than it looks but they maximize it so well it doesn’t matter. Also beware that since it is set to outdoor standards do not expect to feel easy on a 5.10 which feels closer to a 5.11b at other gyms. All in all it is a great gym and I had a blast blowing away the afternoon and progressing at an astonishing rate. Highly recommended!

State park

Huge wildlife reserve featuring trails, camping, horseback riding, skiing, fishing & scenic vistas.

This park was recommended by a family member. Since we were here in April with a new 12 inch coating of snow, we weren't sure it would be open and didn't expect to be able to see much. However, we learned you could borrow snow shoes for free.We drove to the parking area near the beginning of the trail, and suited up with hats, gloves, etc. It was tough going as there were no previous footprints to follow, but it was beautiful scenery. We took a path close to the river and saw and heard geese and ducks. This was great exercise and sure beat being inside another day! The staff was very helpful. If we're in the area another time, we'll be back and try some hiking, etc.

This is beautiful park for hiking and biking. There are two lakes. No ATVs or motorbikes so it us a quieter experience. I rode the mountain bike trails. Most of what I rode was beginner to intermediate level, but there were definitely stretches well above my skill level where I just walked the bike. I will definitely be back.

David Gibby — Google review

Absolutely stunning park! I went to hike the Silver Lake trail and ended up trail running most of it. Nice single track that is not too technical. Not a lot of elevation on the route. Only one hill at the back of the lake but you can skip it if you wanted. Total miles was 8 but if you skip the loop you’ll probably end up with 5 miles. Very well marked and lots of wild life! Bear signs everywhere but I never saw any. Definitely happy I ended up here today!

We had the best horseback ride ever! The day was perfect, clear skies, lush vegetation, and magnificent views! After the 2 hour ride, we had lunch in the park. The grounds were impeccable, the bathrooms clean and the views priceless!

We go cross country skiing here every year, and we love it! We have been doing this for 32 years and will continue this tradition for the foreseeable future.

Gretta Roth — Google review

Fun place to bike, and hike. Absolutely beautiful trails. The trails can be quite muddy at time so give it a few days to dry before riding after a rain. If you like bird watching there are many stunning birds and the trails let you get up close with the lake shore to see them. Don't forget your bug spray though as the mosquitoes can be bad in the spring.

My sister and I had the most memorable trail ride with Kevin in early June! Deb and Kevin run a wonderful outfitter in Idaho. Deb was very helpful with all my questions prior to my trip. I’ve been riding horses my whole life and this was an amazing experience. Kevin was so friendly and helpful when guiding us through aspen forests, canyons and creeks. Kevin and Deb’s Morgan horses are truly remarkable! Being around horses my whole life, I’ve never met such amazing trail horses who are well-trained, sure-footed and trustworthy, especially when crossing creeks and climbing through canyons. I will always recommend Dry Ridge Outfitters!

Wow! Great company. Genuine professionals amazing experience. My wife and I spent 5 days riding with Deb and Kevin Little during July 2022. After day one , we were making plans to return for more adventures with them. The trails were beautiful, the views indescribable, the Morgan horses very capable, and the people we met in our small group of riders made it so much fun. Highly recommend them. Side note: It rained for 15 minutes on our last day and I got to wear my rain gear and take a pic with Deb. It’s one of my favorite pics from the trip.

We recently went for a ride with Dry Ridge Outfitters. We had the best time! I could not be happier with the ride. My son had a blast and did not want the ride to end. He already wants to go back(me too! 😜) Amanda and Kristi were great! They made the ride so fun! Deb made sure everything went smoothly from the time I contacted her about a ride months before all the way up until a few days after. I would recommend Dry Ridge Outfitters to anyone wanting to have a great riding experience. Thank y’all so much!

We had a fantastic day ride with Kevin, a 5th generation native to this beautiful area. He regaled us with stories and local knowledge. Plus, he took us on the most beautiful, scenic ride, making sure we saw sights we had not seen while hiking. Deb was terrific communicating with all our arrangements. My 3 daughters and I had a perfect day trip (and made it home before the thunderstorms!)

We recently returned from a five day Yellowstone pack trip. I would say it was a trip of a lifetime but I am definitely going back!! The friendliest, most patient, and entertaining staff. We were truly blessed to see parts of the Yellowstone not seen by many. Beautiful back country, waterfalls, landscapes and night skies. The horses were amazing, patient, gentle and well suited for different levels. The food was superb. Kevin, Debbie, Greg and Lacey were the best. They did everything to make sure everyone had a great time. I would say don't miss this trip but please don't take my spot!!!

Went with a group of twelve on a four hour ride, all of us beginners. We had an amazing time. The guides gave clear instruction, helped us all along the way, and were great company. The first two hours we rode to a clearing with a views of the Tetons and had a picnic. The views were beautiful as there were wildflowers & peaks of the Tetons showing. The last two hours of the trip went by quickly as we had gained more experience. The trail included creeks, clearings, and canyons. Overall, this was a great trip and would recommend to anyone wanting to experience a scenic trail via horseback.

What a blast! If you are looking to take a day trip adventure on horseback in the beautiful mountains, do not look any further. This was such a memorable experience with my family. Deb and Kevin were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and patient with these city slickers. The horses were sure footed and gentle as we traversed through lush trails and opening up to an amazing vista. I would highly recommend and definitely plan to book again when we come back. Thank you Deb and Kevin! The best!

My family and I had a wonderful time horseback riding with Dry Ridge Outfitters. They we’re able to book us last minute and took us on a beautiful ride into the mountains. Highly recommend!

Valerie Pitalo — Google review

The 5-day pack trip to Tetons was fantastic! Deb and Kevin are warm and friendly. They are patient with the young and the old (our group was aged 13 to 70) , the experienced and the complete novice. The mountainsare breathtakingly beautiful. The horses were sure footed and forgiving. Boone the wonder dog was friendly and loving and everyone wanted to take the Australian shepherd home. I would use Dry Ridge outfitters again and again. Saddle bags nicely hold trail gear, like water bottles, binoculars, or a trail snack. There is much to do when getting ready in the morning or after a ride, but people can do as little or much as they are comfortable with. Everyone in our group gladly helped groom and saddle with particular care for their own horsefor the week. Bring a pair of work gloves getting the horses ready, they are not needed for riding. The cooking was great, and it was nice not having to worry about helping with that task, Greg was a terrific camp cook for our trip -- master of the dutch oven. Our trip was in mid Augustand the fields were covered in blooming wildflowersand virtually no bugs!

Upper Mesa Falls is a beautiful 10-story waterfall located along the Snake River in West Yellowstone, Wyoming. The trailhead and viewing platform are easy to find, and the falls are well maintained with visitor center.

Such a wonderful and easy hike for families, plus the waterfalls! The boardwalk was well maintained and we easily walked out with 2 kids.

Cool Falls on the way to Yellostone National Park, the trails are really well maintained too along with visitor center …

Do amazing only 10$ per car for the whole day and they had some trails that gets you access to both the upper and lower. They had a very nice gift shop and a penny press. The falls were amazing. Very nice view area

We live so close (Rexburg) that I can't believe we haven't been up here before. Although seeing it in fall colors made for a heck of a first impression. I've been posting photos on social media from around Idaho this week, yet these photos of Mesa Falls seem to generate the biggest, most positive response. Maybe my out-of-state friends (like me, until this visit) didn't know such an impressive falls was here. The trail is easy, and I like both the accessible option and the stairs option. Whoever designed the observation points did a great job. and everything is maintained perfectly. We will definitely be bringing out of state visitors up here, now that we know how beautiful this place is. $5 per car, or our interagency annual pass got us in for free.

Great scenic drive and beautiful stop on our way to Jackson. The falls are accessed via a short trail and series of stairs and boardwalks.

Cost is 5 dollars to get in per car. Then a short walk down the board walk less than half a mile and you can see the falls you can continue on down the path and be right where the falls start

Still beautiful. Almost always has the rainbow in the falls. It’s a small fee ($5) to park. Cash only. There are envelopes and a drop box.Hiking trails along the river and a souvenir shop.Spectacular views. Worth the drive. Spend the day or just an hour to take it all in.

Great place to see an amazing water fall. Easy trail on a wood walking path.

Great view! Short hike that leads to an overlook that is nice too. Five dollar cash only parking is not a bad deal for view. The deck has fun info signs to read as well. Very accessible.

This is a gorgeous hike with great views of the falls. It was fairly easy for a family with young children and adults. There are stairs to get down to the various outlooks by the falls, and that could be difficult for some people. I highly recommend it. It was semi-busy since it was Independence Day. Take time to see the falls, the visitor center, and maybe even take food to eat at one of the picnic tables in the area. There is a small entrance fee ($5 per vehicle at the time of this posting).

Please stop by this waterfall if you have a chance. It is absolutely stunning. $10 fee to park but there are some trails you can hike. We parked in the lower lot and just walked to the falls so I can't speak to the other trails. Dog friendly and an easy walk to get there. The views are just incredible.

Very beautiful place. When we interacted with the park ranger here, she said the best time to visit this place would be around 10 am in the morning where we could see a beautiful rainbow near the falls 🌈. We missed it as we were not aware of it. But people who are visiting can make use of this opportunity.

IT IS NOT PLOWED IN THE WINTER! If you know that, you can make an informed decision. We didn't know that going in.In the winter, the road becomes a cross-country skiing and snowmobiling trail, not really fit for pedestrians. But we pulled it off. The walk was brutal because of how not walking-accessible it is. But the falls themselves were stunning and the walkways were sorta shoveled! Basically, don't walk it. But snow mobile or ski it and it's 100% worth it.

Absolutely beautiful, very accessible clean and easy to walk around, wheel chair ramps are available

The upper falls is some of the most beautiful scenery you will experience. Very easy path to follow and dog friendly.
